He can blitz, rush the QB, and most importantly, he can stop the RUN❗️❗️ He’s only 24 years old, in the prime of his career and Seattle will definitely sign him to an extension, guaranteed! Talking about a four year extension before the guy has played a snap for the Seahawks seems premature to me. Wasn't Baker supposed to be a great fit in Macdonald's defensive scheme too? Obviously EJ is a higher caliber player than Baker, but I want to see how the second level of this defense looks with a new MLB before I start thinking about paying the guy. Just my two cents though, I am really happy the Hawks were able to get him in a trade.

The defense got younger, faster & more athletic, and for the people crying over the 4th rd draft pick, just chill out if he plays well in this defense then we extend him and we get a great young player just for a 4th rd pick and if he walks we should get a compensatory draft pick which should be around a 4th rd draft pick, so in reality this is a win, win trade for the seahawks defense..
