😂😂😂
We need to win best in running. Tobi must be shaking wherever she is 😂😂
Can relate 😂😂😂
😭😭😭😂😂😂
Hmmm.. I have struggled with my faith too. I'm an only child, lost my dad when I was 13 and my mum when I was 23. For so long I didn't know how to relate with God. I felt like the least favourite of HIS children. I just could not understand the trajectory of my life, couldn't open my bible, hardly prayed.. Felt so alone.. Few years ago I started doubting the existence of God literally, but out of HIS bowel of compassion, HE allowed me come across messages by Apostle Joshua Selman and gradually I began to find Him again. I'm not where I want to be in my relationship and intimacy with God but I'm in a far better place, and I trust God to get better as I go.
I genuinely pray for everyone to find God and have all their burning questions answered because one thing I know is that there is an answer to every puzzle about our loving God
This gives such elder sister vibes and my God the insight. Jola is so eloquent. This was a match made in heaven.
I didn't want this to end. Jola is so articulate. And it's so obvious you both genuinely like each other ❤️❤️❤️
Me too😪
I love how Jola composes herself, speaks so calmly but clearly. Totally enjoyed this chat.
Jola seems so authentic and original. There’s something about her that keeps drawing me to her. Really enjoyed this episode!
Jola was preaching. Nigerians don't understand simplicity and contentment. Dimma is also right about how lookism is a big deal, especially in Lagos...they call it "packaging".
Lagos and Packaging 🤝🏾😅
I really like how Jola articulates her thoughts 😊
Very true!!!
It's so difficult building female friendships in adulthood. At this stage, I am open to who is open to me.
True
So true
True..
📌📌📌
Exactly
Jola and Dimma a combo I never knew I needed 😩😩
Me too.
This thing about Jola being so bold is one of the so many reasons I love herrr. My queen fr
Same 😂😂🥺🧡
Same here😂😂😂
Two of my faves!! I kept smiling and cackling during this episode. Jola is such a bibliophile, it makes sense that she's so articulate as well. I want to be like her when I grow up lmaooo. I'm so happy to see you laugh out loud and have a good time on camera, Dimma. Isn't the Lord so good!!
They spoke absolute truth through out... Jola spoke a lot of sense when she spoke about Nigerian youths not being contented and wanting to live a luxurious life
Dinma broke the table that all these gals are standing on 😂😂
Loved this, more of Jola please and more advice on life, I need them, I’m 21 and sometimes I let these things social media project make me feel inferior 😅, but hearing things like this from time to time, helps alot
I thoroughly enjoyed this team up. It was so fun and insightful. Thank you for the book recommendations as well. I've been reading a lot of self help books and sometimes they can become a tad bit heavy. So I'm looking forward to exploring the Romance genre again. I used to love reading Harlequin Romance when I was younger, so I'm sure it'll be really nostalgic but also different.
In terms of friendships, you are both right, but you especially hit the nail on the head with appreciating the friends we already have. Anyways this was such a treat! Thank you both.
This was such a good watch….thank you dinma and Jollz!!!!❤️

This video was actually so insightful. Enjoyed it way too much 🥰
Since I was younger I hardly had more than 2 or 3 friends. As an adult I have 3 very good friends that I love. I realized having a small but genuine circle saved me from a lot of things. 💕
My Dim Dim

This is my third time watching Dinma's content but i subscribed from the first view. I have to say I really love this. So much truth, originality, take-homes, so much to think about. This Q&A broadened my scpectrum. Your POVs are so amazing. I LOVEEEEE JOLA. I love Dinma too. Oh my i really love. Your truths, the energy, the friendship. I love you girls for you girls.
As someone who's not active on SM, I only heard about Jola during endsars, but I'm just getting to put a face to name. She's such a lovely and relatable lady.
Dimma’s description of Jolla’s bravery is how I’ve felt about her since I started following her on Twitter. She is truly a role model to me
Finally!!! We’ve been waiting for this episode!!
A whole 53 plus minutes of chit-chat with Dimmah and her friend Jola. Ain't we lucky guys?
We are ❤️❤️
We areeee
Jola is always in the corner!!! I didn’t know I needed this. You two are absolutely amazing. If you want more of this go and listen to i said what i said podcast.
I feel so seen. I knew I could not be the only one who felt what I felt when I read of this
our country. Normally I wouldn’t read the authors name till I finish the short story, but from the very first sentence I knew it was our sister, our Aunty, our author Chimamanda. I had to close to book after her story. Nothing was going to come close to the way she captured Lagos. It took me two days to come back to the book.
I loved every single aspect of this video. Didn’t feel like 53 minutes at all. Thank you Dimma for this Gem. Especially the part about finances and “struggling” in your 20’s. It’s so easy to lose sight of that.
Gosh this was so funnn! 🥰. I wanted to watch for 20-30 mins but ended up watching till the end and even replaying some scenes like 3 times.
I really enjoyed all the insights from the both of you.
Thank you 😂🤩

Really loved this video, it’s hard to find realistic content these days. I love how real this video was. Shoutout to Jola❤❤
I had no idea how much I needed this collab until now😂😂. Two of my favourite people ❤️
I love the honesty of Jola in her reaction to spirituality because that is how I feel and Dinma is a wealth of knowledge. Love the combo of these two powerhouses ❤❤🎉
I admire these ladies alot! Dimma for her put together life, and Jola for her eloquence and her speaking in the face of authority.
This just reminds me of an episode on submaroach where Bolu Jola's brother spoke about Jola and it is exactly as Dimma said it. Jola is so passionate about societal issues, and if she decides to ever go into politics she has my support.
Clicked immediately! Love you both
I honestly didn't want the video to end. It was really insightful. Thank you guys.
This Jola is making so much sense. Contentment is essential
Thank you Jola! Purple hibiscus is my favourite book ever

Love you both so much
#ISWIS fan
So so enlightening❤ You both look great! Half of the yellow sun is also my favorite book by Chimamanda 🤩
This was so beautiful to watch. I actually didn’t want it to end at all. Dimma was right, it was also very insightful. Currently a broke 20-something so I know there’s hope for me
Jola's voice 😩😩😩❤️. She is also so pretty and has this calm look. I loved this chitchat and I didn't even realize it was almost an hour because it was so interesting to watch. Heading over to ISWIS series😘
Omo, I love this and I'm continuing with this series cause I was feeling all I can't talk about but just watching this shifted my paradigm, thanks❤
Jola is so amazing 😊😊. I love her already. This was very entertaining and enlightening. Please bring Jola back oh Dim Dim😂
OMG!!! I had a great time watching this. I even paused at some point to get some ice cream because I was having such a good time. Both of you seem to share similar values and beliefs and I think that is an important ingredient in friendships. I love how playful you both are with each other.
Also, how Jola articulated about people trying to "contentify" their lives and friendships is very apt. I think it's really sad to know that people are focused more on how their circle is perceived by others than if they are actually building a great quality/wholesome circle/friendships. I love what Dimma said about focusing on the genuine friendships you have even if they world doesn't see it. I honestly do not think these things need to be publicised to be genuine.
What all these points to is the need for social validation. Because in my opinion, resisting pressure especially in our late 20s/early 30s should be a walk in the park, if not for the need for validation and "acceptance" by people whose opinion should not matter.
I'm looking to read Chimamanda's books this year; will start with Half of a Yellow Sun.
Sending you both love.
This video is packed with vital information for young adults. I'm very grateful I watched this, learned from it, and I'm inspired by it. Thank you Dimma and Jola.
I enjoyed this so so much!!
Listening to Jola gave me goosebumps... loved this discussion so much!
The most anticipated YT collabo!! To say I enjoyed this video is to say the least tbh! We need a Part 2!! Jolas vibe is unmatched😄 Your individual takes on friendships, life and finances was spot on.. Oh and the part where you both described yourselves, more like two peas in a pod🥹🫶🏼
The friendship between you two is so admirable(Bursts of emotions, tears and laughter while watching esp at the end😂) I hope I find a soul friendship like this soon!!❤️
I hope I do too😄
