    Her interviews are so impressive, we almost take it for granted. You always get candor, substance, poise and humor. What a gift to have a young woman of her capability and character in the program.

    Paige is the lead dog, and an unheralded leader. She mentioned Nika twice which was so great!
    Fans take Paige for granted because we know she’s always ready to play and her game is at the top tier.
    I hope Nika gets more playing time in Seattle because she’s so great too. Glad to see Aliyah doing so well in the WNBA too.

    Great to hear she is focused on building her frame, most important thing she can do this off season is hit the gym hard. Needs to continue to build muscle and mass, she has virtually everything else.

    It's amazing how far Uconn went last year. Paige only had 1 other consistent player last year. Edwards. Ash,KK, Nika and Ice were all inconsistent. They had good games but also bad games on offense only. Defensively they were good always. Paige had to be great every game against good teams and she did it.

    I was waiting for them to ask Paige about Chen. Paige also alluded to how physical the WNBA has "always been" instead of focusing on how players have been sooo physical with Clark, as well as speaking about how many talented players there are in the WNBA, it ain't just Clark.

    "Are you planning for this to be your LAST YEAR at Uconn?"
    As of RIGHT NOW, (shoulder shrug), that's the plan, but I've learned NOT to speak on the future after everything that's happened."
    That is NOT a definitive statement of : I'm gone, no matter what.

    • @jeromedanielson4422
      @jeromedanielson4422 3 месяца назад +1

      I agree, KK will develop into a Moriah Jefferson-type player, once she learns how to play with pace instead of driving to the rim uncontrollably. If KK can improve her outside shot, as Jefferson did, then defenses will have to guard her at the perimeter, and then she can drive or pass on her way to the basket, we did see glimpses of that ability last year.
