The immense amount of pain he must have felt when the acorn hit his car caused him to be "in fear for his life"....

Imagine the mental hoops you have to jump through for someone you already confirmed was unarmed to shoot you, hands cuffed behind their back, from the INSIDE of your own cop car. No broken windows from the shot, you locked him in so he hasn’t opened a door, no injury, no pain…..dude heard a sound and stopped all logical thinking.
They are trained to be paranoid and are constantly on edge because the American policing system is an extension of militarization. Half of these cops are ex-military, have PTSD from commiting war crimes in the Middle East, and are walking around untreated and armed.

2)The discharge of a suppressed weapon in an enclosed and confined space at 4 feet away does NOT remotely sound as similar nor as quiet as a acorn falling on the roof of a cruiser.
3)He mag dumped recklessly without having a clear sight of the "target" and what's behind of it, no regard for potential stand byers sitting in the cars in front of the police cruiser

I just saw a video about if it's legal to shoot back at cops who unlawfully shoot at you, which had a short clip of this video in it. It also had a clip of two police women who emptied 2-4 magazins into a house because they saw a gun. - They didn't even announce themselves beforehand, they knocked at the door because someone called them about a breaking in, and the owner of the house (who did the breaking in because she lost/forgot her keys) came down with a gun in her hand (she didn't know the police was there and it was already late, so it was a means of self defense to carry the gun).
I'm shocked at the display of both videos, and it's almost a miracle both of the victims survived.

Very difficult to investigate that since the office could have deputies from any academy in America.

If this isn't F'd up enough their not showing you the rest of the video, when all the backup arrived they made the kid sit up in the car so they could see his silhouette, they shot out the rest of the car windows around him with him sitting there, then made him show his hands which were handcuffed behind his back. The kid sat in jail for a couple hours then was released with no charges.
It kind of amazes me how they thought he was able to have a gun and shoot in the first place. The two POs handcuffed and probably searched him... how could anyone think he would have been able to do anything?

Yes they are. Remember the California Sniper incident years ago? Cops were staking out a possible target of his when a truck drove past the house in the early morning. Cops opened fire on it, riddling the cab with bullets and striking both occupants. They were not the sniper, but newspaper delivery. The cops were crapping their pants over him.

In the report, it says he thought the acorn was a shot fired from a suppressed pistol. A suppressed pistol that he assumed the person in the squad car had access to despite the fact they already searched and handcuffed him.

A lot of the people who become cops are powerless individuals who daydream of their life one day turning into an action movie where they can become the hero and win respect. Because most cops never have to deal with shootouts or drug busts, they subconsciously look for reasons to fire off a bunch of rounds and live out their fantasy. Just look up the UPS hostage situation where the cops killed the hostage too because they wanted to fire into a car like John Wick.

As well 2 Officers fully unload on a stationary vehicle and neither of the two are able to strike the handcuffed man inside. Every single thing about American LEOs always leads back to incompetence. An armor vest transfers the force of the bullet from a single point to a wider area. Getting hit by a bullet feels like being hit in the chest with a baseball thrown by a pitcher‘s fast ball. If he was hit anywhere else he would know it; he was just trigger happy.
Adrenaline can cause people to not even feel it if they have been shot directly. That’s why after all shootings, cops will physically check each other for bullet holes or injuries because it’s not always felt by the victim.

There was no active shooter or any threat present. This guy is unfit to be a cop if he's that jumpy and paranoid to be set off by an acorn hitting a car.

@EmmysVerySeriousVideos She had the impression that the man in the car was armed and aggressive and probably thought he was still shooting at the other officer. I don't know what theyre taught to do in that situation but it seems she was just trying to keep him safe.

In my country a policeman was put under intense scrutiny for firing a single warning shot.
In USA two policemen can fire 40 bullets towards an handcuffed suspect with no provocation and not even get jailtime.
Why is he making those noises when he was neither hit nor had any reason to roll around on the floor?
From what I gathered, he heard an acorn fall down on the car, which apparently sounded to him like a gun-shot, then he started shouting and was rolling on the ground, which I guess the thought was a great idea to prevent being hit, but he probably rolled over something that hurt him, so he thought he was shot. Then he had some kind of phantom-pain and his strong believe of being shot made him feel pain or something like that and made his leg(s) go numb.

😮When I read the article regarding this incident, I assumed the acorn gave off a loud pop and one officer fired only a couple rounds. The fact that the sound was a soft impact and both officers FIRING WILDLY is insane.
Im honestly starting to think my mum might have been right about violent video games affecting kids development.... these supposedly trained police officers are acting like theyre plauying friggin CoD. You are police in a residential area, even if the guy HAD fired a single shot you cannot just blaze away like that for gods sake, what if one of those wild shots had gone into one of the many houses beyond the car and hit an innocent bystander... you know besides the one in the car they were apparently trying to shoot....

I know everyone here talks about this guy, but let's take a moment to discuss his partner. She had no idea what was happening because she was interviewing a victim and just joyfully joined in shooting at the car. You can't call that professional.

@@imshutdownforever This is not necessarily always the case. They call it the “coffin” for a reason. Plus the glass certainly wasn’t bulletproof, and assuming you can’t get a bullet in through the cars bulletproofed areas, it definitely isn’t going out of them either. So the bullets that came in through the window could ricochet into the person sitting in the car.

If I saw/heard it correctly, as least the woman didn't shoot - especially since she didn't know where to shoot at, but that the guy shot pretty much his whole clip at the car, after A HUGE DELAY after something he thought was a shot, amazes me. If the guy had a gun and would have shot, he wouldn't do one shot and then wait. - And as many others mentioned, how the fq did he think the guy in the car was armed if they were the one searching and arresting him?
