I see you have the nautico trim tabs,I have some arriving in the next couple of days and I have the PR500 plate retractor kit from the USA. I am looking forward to trying them out, how did you find them on your vessel ?.
They seem good. Not sure what I was expecting from them BUT I do seem to plane at a lower speed or hold it on the plane at a lower speed and I can raise the bow with the trim tilt a little easier at slower speeds in rough weather. I think they possibly take a little too end speed off with the drag though.

That slip is private you can’t get to the top ( gate) but you can launch down the beach or the middle slip in felinhli is free

i noticed youve ditched the big boat what were your reasons mark?, i am interested and found your video very informative as i have a small boat of my own which ive not yet had chance to launch , as i too bought it and it needs bringing it up to scratch as the previous owner didn't have a clue, would love to have a chat and get some insight on this subject and also some advice and help, youv'e inspired me to get my boat out on the water next summer, would love to have a chat if you would? good video dont give up ive wanted a boat for years and just lack help and do many things on my own.👊👍
not given up on the big boat. it needs some work so video to explain will come shortly
Small boats will always need a lot of maintenance and it is very rewarding to do it yourself. Looks like you had an amazing weather window.

They do- just had to replace the tilt trim motor but as you say- very rewarding to do it yourself. Weather window was definitely fantastic but it didn’t last unfortunately. Life jacket was actually on the back of my seat. Not really sure why I took it off, maybe to put a coat on but a definite oversight. Not much good if it’s not on!!

Do you launch and retrieve on your own.?
I do sometimes - but this time i didn't. Its so easy to let someone else launch it and it doesnt cost that much more.
Stone beach was a good place now council have blocked it off about 2 weeks ago. They say they own the beach and you can't use it.

just out of the Caernarfon bar and then around the bay - after that went down the Menai for a look around.
