Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Hi CC! If you get a kick out of fast fingerspelling -- check out this little clip: ruclips.net/video/5sx6s2X1nbY/видео.html In that video I demonstrate the: W6V29F1D-[fingertwister] For what it is worth, I practiced for about 20 minutes a day for four days (while walking the dog). The trick was to create enough muscle memory that I no longer had to think about individual letters. Thus it was similar to a "martial arts move" that a person practices until they no longer need to think about it. Try viewing it on a desktop computer in a full browser and use the settings to slow it down to 25% speed.
Ha! Okay, this validates what I've been doing. Michael (my name) and David (my brother's name) are two names I'd fingerspell in the mirror to practice (and did so a ton of times) when I first started. Got 'em the first time with your speed signing. Looks like I'll keep at that practice. Thanks as always for the videos, Bill.
:) I see some tricky names to spell you chose Dr Bill Vicars!! Great practice! I can't wait to meet deaf or hard of hearing people, I am still trying here in Greeley CO. I am in one group and they are gonna let me know when there will be an event :D I am excited about it! I have been learning ASL since January this year with you online..thank you! You are the best funnest teacher ever!!
Yes! I love these name ones! Words tend to have different patterns of letters than names. Names are important and Embarassing to ask over and over. Please do last names as well. And maybe other things that typically get spelled out, like... medical words, legal words, school subject words... nothing super specialized but words Asl-using people spell incredibly fast because they’re common and others will recognize them faster than for a random new word/unusual name

Hello :)
What online payment options are preferred in India!
@@sign-language Neft ... Paytm .... Credit card transaction ... are majors.
I bought it and it is good quality.
She is amazing!! See, I'm good at fingerspelling, but comprehending someone else doing it is hard for me. These videos are very helpful!
