- My latest custom figure, this time in the 1/18 scale! I forgot to list this in the video, but the soft goods are made from cut up khaki pants and I sculpted the wrist armor using Milliput.

To get better paint adhesion regardless of base material....lightly scuff sand with 400 grit sand paper....or use some .0000 steel wool, even a Emory board would work.
In essence roughing up the surface (lightly) gives the paint something to grab onto......also clean with alcohol prior to painting, to remove and oil, dust, etc.

I need to do an update video I how I customize. I have learned a lot and now typically use a matte clear coat over my customs to keep paint from chipping

@@RustbeltCollector what paint do you use?, because i tried with normal paint and it started chipping away over time
@@kingoflatveria1430 Acrylic will chip away if it's not sealed. You could try a nice brand like Vallejo or Citadel. They are more expensive, but give really nice results!
