Finally! Fixies come of age! It is ridiculous to adhere to track racing standards when you are not riding on a track! It is that simple! Tires are going to give you the best shock adsorption. 'Specing' a frame for a 700X 43 tire, a little breathing room with the tire and seat tube, long reach brakes (for us single speeders) makes perfect and pragmatic sense.
While you are right abouth the shock absorbtion they just feel so much more sluggish on pavement. I started with 23mm over 10 years ago and went up to 25, 28 and 32, then back to 28, its just the sweet spot between comfort and "feeling" for me.
Absolutely beautiful build! Damn! I personally ultimately didn't like riding one tho. To heavy and sluggish for my taste. But you sure as hell can abuse them and they're also comfortable to ride. Also the feeling of grip with all those frames with bigger tire clearance... sooo nice.
i wanted to have my own fixed gear but dad said no he wanted me to also use a road bike or a gravel bike i said it's too boring and then i sent pictures of what my dream bike is those are cinelli mash and manila animal and so here i am saving enough money to buy one
Remind your dad how reliable fixed gears are. They can go forever with much less maintenance than a road bike. I like both, but tend to enjoy my fixed gears more. By the way, flat bar cyclocross bikes are VERY fun. Especially singlespeed.
@@SteezeShop i love the looks of bullhorn more, but i did say that to my dad and he said people who only buys fixed gear are homeless or jobless people so police tends to make them leave and more that's why i didn't argue anymore with my dad to buy me one i'll just buy myself one

Well there was fgfs which already had bigger tyre clearances
43 is too wide for road use. Most people will be fine between 28-32c. Lighter riders on smooth roads can get away with 25c.
dont listen to em. fat tires all day baby.
@@bebo3562 been there done it…. Don’t have a bike with tires smaller than 42 anymore
I love it!! The SO EZ looks so great, and this looks amazing.
My fixed has 25c tires I just bought a 93’ stumpjumper in mint condition will convert it to single speed and 26 ! This was a great video
My last bike purchase I was torn between this and the wabi thunder, I ended up going with the wabi but these look so dang good
7:28 broooo why you been taking lot of time building this and u did this☠☠☠☠☠☠

Agree! I own one. It is sluggish but also fun in other ways. It’s my monster truck track bike. Love the company too.
Try a Poseidon fx Tracklocross. Definitely not heavy or sluggish, also waaayyyy cheaper!
@@benjaminstevens4468 Nice do you own one?
Yeah I already had my eye on one of those but unfortunately their not easy to get here in 🇩🇪
Beautiful bike!
Gorgeous bike for sure😍
Nice episode of DAN fixed gear.
Man nitto bars just make me go blaaaaaaaa

Pure ASMR
Go Raiders!!
Faceplate is upside down
I can't unsee it now...
+26 fixie points
I also think the fork shaft is too long. There is little to no space between the shaft and the ahead cap.
@Bebo Chris king headsets upside down is intentional as I suspect the faceplate it's too. Each to their own :)
squid bike ehhhh but andron is a master at building and keeping everything so clean
Bike shops in Connecticut are fewer and farther between. That really sucks!! People can't/ don't want to/ don't know how to fix a bike??
Where is build specifications? Interesting! ;)
looks like a bmx frame 🫠
Good bike build
Why's the stem faceplate upside down at 7:27?
Dream bike from 1920. To be precise. ☮️
What song is playing? The jazzy one.

A little too sparse in the lubrication and if possible at least a front brake! Otherwise, nice build! 👍
I could totally see the logo on the front running afoul of the NFL's lawyers, but other than that, it's a beautiful bike.
Ouch heartbreaking video, no wabi segment.
Sweet build tho
muito linda
can't say as the dialog in this video is up to the normal standard.
That’s an expensive toolbox
Nnniiiccceee😊
Clip less pedals are useless.
A hacksaw on the steerer? How crude.. At least use a pipe cutter.. C'mon!
First comment hopefully!!!!
