I've visited Doctors Cave Beach several times! Nice place and the water is very calm (as you mentioned). Thank you for the history lesson. Good info to know! I love Doctors Cave Beach but I would have to say 7 Mile Beach in Negril is like a piece of heaven on earth 😗

I was born, grown and raised in Montego Bay and I have been going to the beach for years but I did not know that there was once a diving platform. It's by far the best beach I've been to.
Doctor's Cave Beach is beautiful and another one of our favorites is Negril Beach and don't forget French Man's Cove just spectacular, there is many other beautiful beaches in Jamaica that could make the list. 🏖

Love Doctor's Cave, My favourite is actually Dunn's River Falls and park, I use to visit it allot when I was a child but I'd like to visit Mystic Mountain, I heard that the price is abit high but I still want to visit. Keep up the positive!!! Looking forward for your next video!!

I went there all the time in my early teenage years. Its actually where i learnt to swim, diving off the jetty and swimming to and from a nearby buoy. Its also where my friends and I sharpened our flirting chops conversing with cute teen tourist girls. Fun memories. Love that place.
I grew up in MoBay in the late sixties and used to dive off the small jetty which is now completely in the sand.
The first and only time I've been on a glass bottom boat was at Doctors Cave beach. Memories 💜 love it! X

Hello Irina, Doctor’s Cave beach has always been a beautiful place. I remember way back when I was really young, we traveled from Kingston to go there as well as Puerto Seco, and Negril. My favorite was Negril, the beaches there are incomparably beautiful. Really miss the beaches back home😅

Irina I Just love how you dive right in in your clothes :) I've done the same at Blue Lagoon in Portland :) My pers fav beaches are Duncans in Trelawny, and in Portland for swimming - but for elegant gorgeous glamour, I'd say Hope Bay as it is a black sand beach and quiet. The water was rough for me so I didn't swim in it but I walked it for hours. Truly gorgeous!
Doctor's cave Beach is a very nice place. Spent many times there. My favorite Beach although is bloody Bay Negril
Also bloody Bay has a very rich history. The reason for this name is, that's where the Pirates met their death at the hands of the British. There was so much blood in the water that the bay turned red. Hence, bloody Bay.

I was there in 94.casablanca beach club hotel next to dr cave beach.i loved it apart from the hassle on the street. Just tell them no thanks and keep walking .

As a Jamaican, am so perturbed to see our reefs looking a bit bleachy, a healthy reef is abundantly colorful.
A lot depends on the camera and the type of coral I guess 🤔Besides, there are not many reefs by Dr. Cave beach, they are further in the Marine Park protected area ☝️ However, yes, the situation with reefs is difficult everywhere in the world. There are several organizations working on protecting the reef and growing new reefs! I'll be covering this !

I have been to doctors cave beach just last year. I actuall prefer Hospital beach just down the road where the locals hang out. i have never seen vendors on the beach but there are authentic fod and drinks just on the road. Of course no onewill be serving them to you on the beach but in Jamaica you could probably find someone to do so at your own risk of course. promise them a tip for sure. Nice video! amazing that you haveso many over 4,000 views inonly half a days time. Respec!
Thank you so much! The beach down the road - Hospital beach - it's lovely, I love the local park there, and yes, it's free! I'll be making the video on it as well, but since there is some development going on in that area - I'm waiting until we know for sure if that beach will get renovation of the facilities in the area.

When I'm in a bad scene like having all my teeth extracted by an oral surgeon I put myself mentally in the warm clear Waters of Doctors Cave. It was Heaven! Enjoying a Ting and a Patty under the shade tree. Thank Jah for Mo' Bay. My life wouldn't be what it is, hell I wouldn't be who I am if not for Jamaica. I had a brand new 5 bdrm Villa on top of " Pineapple Top" mountain in Coral Gardens. Probably the happiest healthest time of my life as de White Don of the Posse. Long live Jamaica! " Out of many One People "!!!
Best beach is Long way beach no tourist no crowds. Use mainly by locals and very well maintained.
