Went to see a movie at Adonis Theater in Rittenhouse Square about eight years ago and before the film took a leak in the men's room. While standing at the urinal some greasy guy smelling of alcohol walks up to the urinal next to mine and proceeds to piss on my shoe. I smack the guy on the shoulder and say something like...hey...and he says...oh shit, sorry... and corrects his stream...i immediately notice it's Alex G. Yep. Fucking Alex G pissed on my shoe at the movies.
I don't know much about it, but you have to think that there is a background behind all this. I've been researching and urinating as an adult or child can be related to traumatic events in your childhood, be it separation from your parents, some physical or sexual abuse and it can make more sense just by analyzing more in the lyrics of your songs. on his new album he talks a lot about his faith and his traumas like his drug addiction and that his faith has helped him overcome that. I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking the situation a lot, but seeing the lyrics of their songs it can be a reality. anyway, i wish alex the best, i love him very much, i hope he is feeling well, and that his faith and his loved ones can help him overcome all those traumas and his pain.
