Actually the problem is not with the grease Amul, I have spent more than 2 years struggling with these in both Punto and Linea, more than 10 sets have been changed by fiat, 2 times I paid for it and the rest was Free of cost under part warranty. The issue is with the Mount geometry and manufacturing. The bearing fails under load and seizes. Hence the spring starts to bind and makes this cling noise. The only way out is to go through trail and error method. The noise will come again after 3-4 months even if you fill these with loads of grease. My suggestion would be to get them changed only at the Fiat Workshop, at least you will have the 6month warranty. All the best!
Absolutely true. My new mounts already failed 🤣😅. Made a video on that will me uploading it today only. I heard Mother-son also started to make shocker mounts for fiat. But I also think warranty ones are better as if it lasts for 6 months it's gonna last a while. 😀
This shocker mount issues are very common in punto/lines, I too have this sound in my punto.... Sound is only when you steer the car in slow speeds or stationery position.. On normal cruising sound doesn't come... Is it necessary to change it or can drive with it plz suggest. Thanks

Bhai, maine poori shocker assembly change karwa li par ye dung dung sound band nahi hui. Koi solution ho to batana. Some mechanics were telling that it is steering wheel issue. I want to be sure before doing it.
Issue shocker k mounts ka hai bro. Uske design mein issue hai tabhi ye sound aati hai. Aapne grease fill ki thi kya jaise maine ki. Usse sometimes awaaz nhi aati.
No bhai. The grease was not filled. The shocker pads were replaced in jeep dealership. When sound did not go away. Shocker assembly was changed. But the issue is still there.
Lineas mein steering sound on low speeds is common.. I have started to live with it now.. Replaced, greased, done everything but still same after some time

What company grease was that , looked like some good thick High temperature grease
Also i have change mount of punto but after fit the mount, steering noise has been not changed

Bhai jabtak koi thos solution nhi milta tabtak faaltu paisa nhi kharchunga kyuki pichli baar bhi money waste hua hai. And main itna rich nhi hu ki baar baar trial and error kar saku.
