I didn't think anything could beat Sierra's Woo-Hoo moment but the look on her face when she kissed your finger better was just delightful. And then the casual 'Just doin my job!' simply took the biscuit. Superb.
One of my favorite episodes in a while guys! I have 4 kids, the oldest is now 23 😮, 3 boys 1 girl, the youngest is my 9 y/o little girl. There is an unmistakable difference in the parenting of a daughter. Seeing that little kiss to the boo boo warmed my heart. At least in my family the high energy rambunctious nature of my boys excited and motivates me, the caring, compassionate and attentive energy of my daughter calms me in my late parenting years. Boys keep you on your toes and daughters melt your heart.
Tip for everyone when anchoring. Anchor next to similar hulls. Different boats lay differently with wind and current. So if you run a catamaran try to anchor near other catamarans that way when conditions change the boats should all swing the same direction
Also, ask your neighbors how much chain they have out and put out something similar, so the boats swing the same radius. If you feel it's too little, find a different spot, you don't want to be in the middle of a dragging flotilla...
Over the years your cinematography has become second to none. This was a beautiful episode with low lights and high lights that were very entertaining. I hope you left your unabashedly rude neighbors and nice farewell note. It would seem inappropriate to not have done so. LOL
So stoked to hear Ramukanji has returned. That song brings back great Delos memories and sets the stage for the next 20 minute adventure. Nobody gonna stop us!

Hi Delos. Strange to think that you have to do 'gardening' on your boat, to get rid of the weeds and all the other 'free-loaders'. I still remember the episode where Brian got a baby crab in his ear, after he had been scraping the bottom. Thanks for the brief 'wildlife' shots of the local seas. Sierra is growing up with so much charm , it's lovely to see. Kaz had Sierra when I first got to Italy, and discovered Delos around the end of 2017 . I've been here just over six years now and each year that passes I see Sierra stretch and learn to speak better, it's quite a "virtual experience" I must say, not quite vicarious but it just makes you aware of how much we all change with the passing of time. Delos videos never dissapoint, always uplifting. Thanks guys!!
Sierra is just getting to that age where she can start to become a helper, that is gonna make life a lot easier for you all as she grows into that stage of life.

As a shiner myself, I always thought you were in shiner heaven in some of your ports and islands. Glad to see you take advantage of it. Vevor makes some really small still pots now that can be used to ferment as well as cook in.
When the bananas are super ripe remove them from skins and freeze , it enhances the flavor and acts as ice in a smoothie. Of course you can store them for a long time in a sealed container

As a father whose kids are now young adults, you two are doing a great job with Sierra. She’s gonna be a well rounded adult. The experiences she will have to fall back on is invaluable. Better teacher than any public or private school.
It is fun for many of us to watch Sierra grow up. We are also watching Vera on RAN sailing. How old is Sierra? Do you know how old Vera is? They are both coming into their own in terms of personality, cute as can be and add so much to the viewing experience. Until this 82 yo grandfather becomes a great grandfather, and I am working on it 😉😉, they will have to serve by proxy. Coincidentally you and they are building your dream boats. Also, I’m not Swedish, but my mother-in-law was, our children and grandchildren called her MorMor, and they call me FarFar. Hugs to you all.

It's got stowage space for everything, all very well thought out. Today's episode was a sweet confection, after seeing the inconsiderate sailors who moored too close. Takes all kinds of people to make a world.

people like this tend to be shockingly oblivious to the effect their behavior has on others, even when they’re confronted with it. Usually they double down and make it seem like it’s your fault. No fixing them 😑
Hope Delos2.0 build is going well! I think the French Polynesian (other than this ⛵️⚓️) is my fav spot thus far! The views are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The sea of Cortez was pretty cool, but thinking this spot takes the "banana bread" 😊

Last year I had a guy anchor over the top of my anchor, in an anchorage where you have to have a permit to anchor. I got a hold of the permitting office needing to leave, they got in touch with him, he said he would be down that evening, never appeared, the next day I called back, he didn't answer when they called, I told them to call him back and leave a message that if he did not come move his boat so I could pull my hook I was going to ram it out of the way. He was there within the hour. Sometimes people just need the right motivation.
I recognised those from when I was a child, back in the 1950's, when our family lived in the Mediterranean. Cressi Sub Flippers and Full Face mask with built-in Snorkel. If you lost a flipper, it would just float to the surface, as would the mask. I loved spear fishing amoungst the rocks, seeing what I could catch for lunch. Happy carefree days... before my father was posted back to the UK, where the water was too cold for swimming. It would be nice to live somewhere where the water was warmer.
I meant to write earlier: Your new project is very exciting. My only question is that only with the visuals available, the hulls seem very narrow. After installing insulation and finish, how much living space will be left? I have binge watched all the earlier videos and love watching your stories every week. You can make banana popsicle with that type of bananas. Peel, flatten them about 1cm thick. Press shave coconut, roasted broken peanuts on the surfaces, freeze them overnight. Don't forget the popsicle sticks (or use bamboo chop sticks).
If you were too, attach a rope to your anchor line partway down and run it to your winch on the side of your boat, you could adjust the direction that you face into the wind and instead of getting the Rollies at an anchorage, you can point into the waves. Justice a suggestion 😊
