What are these songs for? I’m on a playlist called tea dance songs, and I get this? What does this even have to do with tea? Not mad just need more info.

Hello Frosty the Teapot Snowman, the dance of the northern Woodland Cree is called the tea dance. It was started many moons ago (I'm not sure when). It's a social dance and people would get together and have food and medicine tea to celebrate life or a big accomplishment such as a successful hunt. My guess would be that an outside observer saw this and called it the tea dance. Us woodland Cree call it mas/ki/si/mo/win (translates to limping dance because of one leg bouncing while dancing). I hope that helps! :)
