I am really surprised they didn't edit that out. As much as I LOVE this podcast, it does kinda irritate me how NONE of the host mention games/consoles on any other platforms except for Nintendo Switch, and any other Nintendo console. I mean, I understand, but still, this should be a podcast for the gaming community, by the gaming community.
Senseless mind I agree. I just think to be fair/considerate, they must acknowledge that there are other titles on other systems. To relate and better from opinions about their games. But I agree with you in the sense that this is by Nintendo.
I take it you never watch anything from the likes of Playstation Access or the XBox equivalent channels then? They are all literally obliged, unless absolutely necessary, to focus on their parent company's products and to not mention things exclusive to the competition.
Celeste has quickly became one of my favorite games of all time, I'm really glad to have bought the game :D Thank you Matt, Noel, and everyone else who worked on the game for making such a fun, exciting, and emotional game!
Love those 1hourPodCasts of yours, great segments, great interviews keep bringing more of those successful Indie, Third and offcourse First Party games; love to hear detail by detail when describing a fun story or the specifics on how the game came to be, if there’s one thing i love about the audio format more than anything else is the audio quality probably probably by having mics adjusted to each individual could improve the sound quality there were just some small spots where i was able to notice when someone was far from the mic or vise verse but overall this is my favorite podcast so far great job 👍
The Switch has been the greatest revitalization of video games in gaming history. I'm so proud of everyone who did their best to make their games and ideas shine on this gift of a system.
The opening credits to Final Fantasy III on the SNES - marching across a snowfield in Magitek armor to a distant Narshe, while Terra's theme plays softly, all in then-gorgeous Mode 7 graphics. It was the first time I ever saw such a moving scene portrayed in video games, and forever changed the way I viewed the medium.
I'm not sure if you guys are allowed to talk about this on a Nintendo focused podcast, but I'm really curious on what Non-nintendo games you're currently playing or looking forward to releasing.
Yes! Great content as previous episodes. I would like a special about soundtracks and sound design, as many games released lately seem to focus in such important element.
I have only one suggestion. Have a release schedule. I kinda want to incorporate this podcast into my life, like Nintendo Minute. Every Friday I can look forward to Nintendo Minute. But other than that, I am in love with this podcast! Keep up the good work!
Celeste is definitely a perfect fit for the Switch and it deserves all the praise it’s been getting! Best platformer I’ve played i a long time. Thanks for the interview it’s cool to hear what the devs have to say about their games.
I wish this podcast was on spotify so I could listen to easier while driving.. But seriously, great podcast! I love that my favorite magazine has been resurrected
Nintendo Gaming that would be hard as mario's signature shake attack was used with motion controls idk it just wouldn't feel the same for me but i hope for a SMG3
Splatoon 2 is my favorite and my most played game on Switch. I love the Splatoon series, art style, world and characters. Super Mario Odyssey is amazing but not my personal favorite 3D Mario game. It has amazing level design but it's just really forgettable after you beat it and doesn't stick with you like with Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 but that's just my opinion. Zelda Breath Of The Wild is also not my favorite Zelda game. I haven't even beat it yet and might not for a while. It just doesn't have anything going for it except for the huge world. But asking what my favorite Nintendo game is like asking me what my favorite food is lol. But it has to be a mix of a bunch of games. Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros. 64, Mario Party, Kirby's Adventure, Excitebike on NES, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World hold so many memories for me but I can go on and on lol. I'm excited for Kirby Star Allies and I'm getting it first day.
The 1st anniversary of the switch’s launch is this Saturday!! I’m gonna celebrate by doing a 6 hour switch stream on my gaming channel and do a video explaining my history with the console, I love the Nintendo switch so much I got 18 games for it. I also can’t wait to see what they have to offer in the future. Also, like this comment if your excited for the switch’s 1st anniversary or if you got your switch on launch.
Keeping up with the times I guess? So this is what replaced the magazine! Hopefully there will be a video version of this soon enough and more cool indie games!!!!
The only downside to this podcast is that new episodes don't come fast enough! It's so great to have something like this from Nintendo ! Now please, a Nintendo Direct :) ?
hi, I have a question about the arcade classics for the switch. Does Nintendo have any plans on "updating " the Arcade classics? Like adding Amiibo support for Mario Bros. That would be amazing. Or, give us Donkey Kong, but with "new" style updates, new boards, like unreleased Donkey Kong 2. I'd also really like to see Nintendo's Arm Wrestling Arcade game please.
I got introduced to nintendo power. When i found A box of old nintendo adds and manuils then i got a power gighd to mario 64 keep playing with power nintendo make life awsome
This is great news I got to try this game out I know it's on Steam by the way ironically the two below me I'm subscribed to them Small World on RUclips
I know for sure that about a thousand people have said "Now you're playing with Power" in the comment section of these podcasts, so ill just say that Nintendo needs to bring back that phrase in the Switch ads.
God this makes me so happy ✅
Celeste is such a great game. Looking forward to their next games.
I was instantly hooked on it.
Dougy #The Nintendo *goddess*
Go play Towerfall if you haven't already.
Ban the bot

42:07 Good golly, they actually mentioned Cuphead in this, the actual madmen!
I am really surprised they didn't edit that out. I mean, I understand, but still, this should be a podcast for the gaming community, by the gaming community.
It's obviously a Nintendo podcast, it's even in the title. They're not going to advertise games on other consoles. rolls-eyes
Senseless mind I agree. I just think to be fair/considerate, they must acknowledge that there are other titles on other systems. To relate and better from opinions about their games. But I agree with you in the sense that this is by Nintendo.
Oh boy, I can't wait to listen to the NINTENDO podcast so they can talk about Xbox games!
I take it you never watch anything from the likes of Playstation Access or the XBox equivalent channels then? They are all literally obliged, unless absolutely necessary, to focus on their parent company's products and to not mention things exclusive to the competition.
I love the intro theme to this
The Celeste's developers interview starts at 32:14
Thanks so much!
Celeste has quickly became one of my favorite games of all time, I'm really glad to have bought the game :D
Thank you Matt, Noel, and everyone else who worked on the game for making such a fun, exciting, and emotional game!
Same! It's in my all-time favorites!

When are they gonna announce Mario and Sonic at Olympics 2018?
The Real Delphox 616 i hope soon! :D
Ubisoft owns olympics licence now
River M So The Japanese Prime Minister jumping out of a warp pipe and dressing up like Mario makes no sense now.
i thought Ubisoft only owned the winter Olympic licence
but I may be wrong
The Real Delphox 616 yes. For the *2020* *Tokio* olympics, Not the *2018* Olympics. The Premiere Minister didnt Talk about 2018
I'm really enjoying these podcasts. Keep them coming.

32:26 Celeste interview
You sir, saved me half an hour.
I'm not sure if you guys are allowed to talk about this on a Nintendo focused podcast, but I'm really curious on what Non-nintendo games you're currently playing or looking forward to releasing.
Finnaly another podcast!!!
19:58 witness the very rare mention of Startropics on an official Nintendo video.
Awesome podcast guys! I always am looking forward to each podcast :D
Yes! Great content as previous episodes. I would like a special about soundtracks and sound design, as many games released lately seem to focus in such important element.

Really enjoying the NP podcast, would love to see the magazine back even if it was digital!
This was great, first time I listen to this podcast. How often does this air?
It airs live now
Celeste is legit.
My fav indie game since Shovel Knight
Same. Everything about it felt solid, controls, visuals, game-play. I found the story a bit on the nose, but at least it was trying to have a message.
Nintendo is Cool
Nintendo is Cool
Great podcast. Keep em coming guys!
was the intro to the warp zone section recorded with the chorus mod for the piano labo??

I have only one suggestion. Have a release schedule. I kinda want to incorporate this podcast into my life, like Nintendo Minute. Every Friday I can look forward to Nintendo Minute. But other than that, I am in love with this podcast! Keep up the good work!

Celeste needs an award, please let it get an award
I'm so glad this podcast and Celeste exist.
Celeste is definitely a perfect fit for the Switch and it deserves all the praise it’s been getting! Best platformer I’ve played i a long time. Thanks for the interview it’s cool to hear what the devs have to say about their games.
Hey Chris do you do this podcast from space?
Is this on iTunes? Podcasts or any media besides youtube?

I'm so glad to see Nintendo Power return! :D
HERE HERE HERE WE GO!

(Continue)
Celeste was one of the only really challenging games within last months, thanks a lot for that!!
I really wish you would show vids of the games you are talking about.
Nice. Also celeste has really good word of mouth
My favorite opening would have to be Super Metroid, I'm really surprised none of you said that!
Who else want’s Super Mario Galaxy 3 for Switch?
Nintendo Gaming that would be hard as mario's signature shake attack was used with motion controls idk it just wouldn't feel the same for me but i hope for a SMG3
Nintendo Gaming we already had it in Super Mario Odyssey!!
Rufus Hewitt true but didnt that involve rotating the controller ina circle
Rufus Hewitt NO. That's not galaxy it doesn't have a galaxy feel it has a ODYSSEY feel.
my dream
My goodness. I was this close to thinking I'd get an episode of this podcast without talking about how great BOTW was.
This podcast is amazing.
Can the next Nintendo power podcast have a segment on the future for 3ds since the switch took it over

Can you imagine how great Nier:Automata would look on the Switch? Please, make it real Nintendo.
Do you always have to be that condescending?
What kind of a podcast only has one episode a month?
Splatoon 2 is my favorite and my most played game on Switch. I love the Splatoon series, art style, world and characters. Super Mario Odyssey is amazing but not my personal favorite 3D Mario game. The 1st one i played was that one with millons of kirbys my favret kirby is triple deluxe
Talking about criminally under-rated games, SqEx really should have made a Dragon Quest Swords 2 for the Switch.
What about South park for Nintendo Switch ?
Nice!
Metroid Prime, what's about the relasse date, i'm waiting for a new game!
Mr. Redfin don't expect metroid prime 4 to be released anytime soon, please have patience.
