It's nice to hear about the stress of creating a game from other developers. Sort of validates the experience of creating and publishing my first game. Looking forward to giving overcooked a try.
Super Mario 64? I completed it three times in a week through sheer anticipation for Odyssey. That's gotta mean something, right? -besides a severe overload of free time- Paper Mario was pretty inspiring too... I feel like a kid again everytime I touch a Pikmin game... Kirby just takes you to that happy place, as well... I'm a big fan of the original Luigi's Mansion... Majora's Mask is one of very few games I 100% on every playthrough... I could play ANY Smash game (even by myself, with CPUs) for HOURS... ...I can't choose, goddamnit x)
Any chance Nintendo can send me reprints of Nintendo Power issues Volumes 1-50 and the Players Guides since I lost them all in a flood and I had originally bought them brand new directly from NOA and it sucks not having them anymore.
It's been 6 years since the magazine was shut down and I'm still bummed out about it. It could've kept going if only nintendo had kept faith in it and utilized it better like in the old days when they had comics and behind-the-scenes info on games. Other game magazines from it's era are still around, notably game informer since it's even in the top 5 magazines for the US.

45 minutes a month is not enough Nintendo Power Podcast. I'm not sure if its a budget thing or what, but could a weekly format be considered? Or, lieu of that, a longer form with more segments? I feel like I have to wait too far between episodes and then they don't go long enough to cure the thirst that builds up.

Sakurai did mention "fewer newcomers", we already know two of them, so they can't give us whatever's left so soon, especially when the game is still *agonisingly* far away from our game libraries x) ... still eager to see the new guys myself, though! I'm pretty excited for them to show off some new/returning modes, too. I bet some of them could rival newcomer levels of hype :D And I'm super glad the blog releases new music fairly often, this time around. That's very cool :D
