Your review of the Rev'it Parabolica Jacket was helpful in my decision to purchase it for myself. I was wondering if you would also do a review of the Parabolica Pants as well as I am interested in completing the set for a comfortable and casual commuter set? Thank you for the info and review details, especially when it comes to helmets. Cheers.
Just got the jacket, it feels pretty great, ordered black and olive in large, ended up keeping the olive. Put in the seasoft air backprotector in it instead of the advertised RV that revit says fit. Was in contact with revit and they said the Seasoft AIR has the same dimensions as the RV, so it fits. Figured the air was maybe lighter, cant tell, but more ventilation at least, what ever that is worth. One thing, the jacket is a bit less comfortable with the back protector in it, still okay. I might be inclined to buy a "strap on" back protector for more comfort. The price is rather steep for this piece + back protector, you can get high quality leathers for this price easily. But hey it is light, looks great and quality seems solid. Would recommend.
would this jacket be good for the middle of summer during the peak heat of the year? where im located it gets to around high 80s F to mid 90s F with quite a bit of humidity.
The Parabolica should serve you right in those temperatures. It's thinner compared to most other textile jackets, a very effective way to keep you cool.
