Well folks our Motorcycle tour to Spain and France has been and gone in a flash and we are already planning our next trip, as you all know this was Fayes 1st time riding her own bike to Europe and on a ferry but she took it all in her stride so mega proud of her, anyway in this episode we make our way from the lovely Santander through the country roads all the way to Pamplona where we would stop for 2 nights.

Shaun, I have the same bike, and loving it. How do you find the slow speed stuff, mine seems to hunt for fuel a bit.

Yeah putting a can and getting it mapped next month as it releases another 12bhp and smooths the low speed hunting out , I've put a puig touring screen on it
Great video. We rode through Spain in the spring of 2023. It was wonderful. We were riding a 650 Suzuki VStrom that we shipped to the UK from Canada. We had been watching video's like yours for years. What an experience for us. thanks for sharing.
Did this trip but in reverse (I don't mean backwards 😁) back in 2009. Brilliant fun!

Just a very slow sailing pal , the pont aven is a much better boat but the Saling times of this 1 suited us better

Brilliant folks… we’ve been there few yrs back. Sailing can be a bit of a pain specially if seas are rough.
Delighted youz got away on da Dick Van Dykes 🏍️ and Mother Nature shining down on you both.
Scenery is always very lovely and roads are really good.

Good to see the both of you having a great time. Like you, I have no idea what that crazy ass looking quarry thing was, but you were in the homeland of Dalí, so not unexpected. Also wanted to thank you for bringing Benelli to my attention. I've now got the TRK 502 at the top of the list for my first bike. Looking forward to the day that I can start to make trips like this myself. Hope all that sunshine has done good things for your healing.

In 2023, we came back to Portsmouth on the Santona. Can only agree with your comments, the ship got us to the UK. As you say, very little to do, most boring ferry we have ever been on. One last point, it seemed to us it was a lot slower than the Pont Aven. Looks like you were having a great time though in Spain.

Glad you managed to do the trip after your recent hassles. We did exactly the same ferry from Portsmouth to Santander in June. Think we pulled out of Portsmouth after midnight.
At least you can have a drink that night and all the following day 🍸

All looks good so far thought the boat looked ok better than the last one i went on (Plymouth to Roscoff )about 25 yesrs ago and that was only a six hrs .looking forward to more vids can't wait

lovely place, stunning scenery. What mesh jacket do you have? been looking at the Eclipse 2 and the Vigor 2 but cant decide.
Don't know the exact model as at work but we both were rev it mesh jackets mega comfy , will put fill name up when I get home as always getting asked about them
Did you find the black helmets a tad warm in Spain? I changed from black to white helmets because, even with excellent ventilation, the black ones got a bit hot in temperatures over about 30°C
No not really, been touring 35yrs and never found helmet colour a prob

@paullee6663 Sorry, I watched it in two halves and commented on the restaurant too soon. Didn't realize they are using another ferry to get to Santander. I thought you were on the Pont Aven. Looks a nice run to Pamplona. I think I'd be heading that way if I were to go again.
