I am actually excited for Dragapult, i have been so tired of Charizard, been needing a worthy deck to push charizard away a bit. I am glad a dragon type is going to be very good and possibly meta, dragon is actually my favorite type in Pokemon. Though ironically Charizard won't truly be going anywhere as one of dragapults potential partners is charizard itself.
*I Charizard should always be capitalized That would be Dragapult ex and Charizard ex. Dragapult ex can't 1 shot Charizard ex. It deals 100 damage and then places 6 damage counters on any of your opponent's benched Pokémon in any way you like. The problem is that the deck runs mostly Charmander with 70 HP. So, that benched Charmander is going to survive anyway. I'm sick of Charizard ex, too. Players who run it get an auto-win. Even if you're running a Grass deck. I've lost to it so many times even when I ran Shaymin V-Star with exploding Foretress ex. Why don't you run an all Future Deck? Then it's all basic Pokémon and you don't have to worry about Rare Candy to a Stage 2. Iron Thorns ex puts all Pokémon that except for Future Pokémon under ability lock. The only downside, is that it has to be in the active spot in order for it to be in effect. I play online and find the opponents don't typically take the time to read abilities. So, you can put Charizard ex under ability lock and then it can't self charge and Pidgeot ex can't use quick search either. Its attack, Volt Cyclone is pretty good, too. 140 Damage and then you move 1 Energy to the bench. It only requires 1 Lightning energy and then it takes 2 Colorless energies. You can quickly charge it up with Miraidon's first attack. Have 4 Miraidon in your deck for a high chance of starting with it. Have 4 Iron Crown ex in the deck to make sure you can get at least 1 or 2 on your bench to increase your attack power of your future Pokémon. 4 Future Booster Energy Capsules to ensure an additional 20 extra damage and free retreat. I always run 4 Switch Cart because I'm running an all basic deck anyway, and I'm able to heal 30 damage when I switch my Pokémon to the bench. I also want as many ways as possible to switch to my bench. My main draw support is always 3 Professor's Research and 3 Iono. 4 Pal Pads. I run a minimum of 3 Boss's Orders and a Prime Catcher. Although, I did build an Iron Leaves deck that I managed to fit 4 Boss's Orders. So, that I have a high chance of being able to top deck a Boss's Orders. 3 Arven to pull out Items. 4 Techno Radar to ensure you can search your deck for up to 2 Future Pokémon with the small cost of discarding 1 card from your hand. Try to fit 15 Energies in your deck. That's what I do. That way, I can frequently charge with Miraidon. You can deal up to 140 damage with Miradon, with a Future Booster Energy Capsule attached to it and 4 Iron Crown ex in play. Then you can also charge your bench by searching your deck for up to 2 Basic Energy Cards and attaching them to your benched Future Pokémon in any way you like. It costs only 1 energy to use Miraidon's first attack. Running an all Basic Deck with Energy excel is a lot faster to setup that a Stage 2 deck that relies on Rare Candies and has no energy excel. Furthermore, Future Decks have the potential to donk the opponent if you go second and if you start with Miraidon and a Techno Raider or an Arven in your hand. Provided your opponent has no backup and their Basic Pokémon has only 60, 70 or 80 HP. To donk 60 HP, you'll only need 1 Iron Crown ex in play or just a Future Booster Energy Capsule on your Miraidon. To donk 70 or 80 HP, you'll require either 2 Iron Crown ex or just 1 Iron Crown ex and a Future Booster Energy Capsure attached to Miraidon. With 4 Iron Crown ex in your deck, you have a good chance to start with at least 1 Iron Crown ex in your hand, too. I always run 16 Future Pokémon in my deck. That's 16 Basic Pokémon and the chance of a mulligan is low. Iron Jugulis, Temporal Forces 139/162 is always nice. It's a Colorless Pokémon and only requires 3 Colorless Energy to attack. It has the potential to deal up to 220 damage with 4 Iron Crown ex in play and a Future Energy Booster Capsule attached. Plus, its ability, Automated Combat puts 3 damage counters on your opponent's attacking Pokémon.
Yeah lowkey sounds like cheating. Another card game one piece, we did a pre release, one guy did his deck away from everyone and apparently pulled multiple copies of the strongest cards
Sad sneak peak for my friend for the oppsite reason. Another oarticiam and I saw him ooened a sealed kit and the packs had 2 each reverse, holos and ex. He got mutiple of masked ogrepon ex and greninja exs but didnt want to use them because he thought mo one would believe him. Even watching him opened it, i didnt even believe it
The funny thing is that I knew dragapult ex was going to be one of the best card and even though tcg live gave a dragapult deck in the premium pass but I have yet to see a single person playing dragapult decks
I'll definitely use the 151 Chansey. Plus Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking & Arc Phone & Skwovet I guess, unless there a Pokemon with the ability "once per turn draw 1 card".
Rabsca's the best counter to Dragapult, but if you can't get it up early the Rellor is just an easy target. Plus there's Canceling Cologne - ruclips.net/video/7WiRibpfqc0/видео.html
Hey pilot, I tried putting an earmark on my rare candy like you said and I got disqualified from my locals. Apparently it was a "marked card." I don't know why you would give out advice to break the rules. Please address it in your next video.
You are very obsessed with Dragapult ex. Sorry, but it's just not good enough. It can't one shot anything, except for a benched Pokémon with 60 HP, but Darkness Charizard ex always used 70 HP Charmander. So, you can't 1 shot it. Your Blissy ex deck is flawed, because you have Dragapult ex without Dreepy! 🤦🏻♂ You can't run a Stage 2 decks without the Basic Pokémon that go with them! Stage 2 decks are too slow against Darkness Charizard ex and I'm not building a deck that includes it because I'm not a rookie that requires an auto-win deck. You honestly think Stage 2 will be first place against Future decks that are much faster to setup? When I play online, I'm going to run Iron Thorns ex to put Charizard ex under ability lock. I've noticed a lot of players don't read Abilities of their opponent's Pokémon. So, I'll have Iron Thorns ex in the active spot and Charizard ex won't be able to self charge and Pidgeot ex won't be able to use Quick Search. Then, I will smash Charizard ex! Iron Thorns ex is good for a main attacker, but I have another idea, too. I can use the new Iron Bundle with Iron Thorns ex and can attach a Future Booster Energy Capsule Iron Thorns ex. I will switch both Active Pokémon out, provided I don't get the KO with Iron Bundle. Then, I will switch in Iron Thorns ex to put my opponent under Ability lock. Then, I will free retreat to my Iron Bundle and attack again. Rinse and repeat. I always run 4 Miraidon Peak Acceleration, 4 Iron Crown ex, 4 of my main attacker and then 4 backup attackers. A grand total of 16 Future Pokémon. That's 16 Basic Pokémon. My Future decks always consist of 4 Future Booster Energy Capsules, 4 Switch Carts, and 4 Techno Radar. I don't care if Future Booster Energy Capsule gives free retreat. There will be times where my opponent will pluck up 1 of my benched Pokémon that I don't want in the active spot and I won't have a Future Booster Energy Capsule attached to it and I don't have it to attach, but I have a Switch Cart in my hand. If I have an Arven in my hand, then I can pull out a Switch Cart and a Future Booster Energy Capsule. I also always run 4 Pal Pads as a staple in all of my decks, Future or not because then I don't have to max my Supporters and can grab them back. Future Decks with energy accel are a lot faster to setup than Stage 2 decks with no energy accel like Dragapult ex.

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast That is how it is with the BDIF unfortunately, it was the exact same with Charizard.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast I mean people love to play the BDIF cause it is strong and wins them games.
But yeah, we are going to see it a lot, espeically if its one of the free decks on the new battle pass and chances are it will be.

Dragapult showed me a bad time in prerelease today, somehow my OP had 3 dragapults in their pre-release kit wild huh?
While drakloaks are difficult to pull lol

Cheat lucky to pull one plus the whole evolution line
This really is a player’s set. So much good stuff in here
would ogerpon teal mask be better for blissey? to accelerate energies easier

Dragapult be great in Regidrago VStar deck.
Rip dunsparce it was fun while it lasted
So sad Palafin isn’t good
Thing you need to remember is Japanese tournaments are best of 1
No iron thorns ex?
I mean you could also run Tera Greninja ex as it does the same thing as Pidgeot ex, but also does like 170 damage for only one energy.
They honestly can be a great combination
Wait, isn't bidoof immune to damage at bench?
Damage, yes. Not damage counters. So Dragapult can still spread to it.
Why no Rabsca? Would that not help against Dragapult?
I cant wait to build blissey and raging bolt
Raging bolt ogre 4 da win
That's my boy only waiting for my teal guy to finish my dino Raikou
This is natu bad.. 😁
Why was I not subbed? What am I doing with my life? 🫡 Awesome analysis. Shared with my peeps. Very excited for this set. 👹
There's a rogue Froslass deck with Munkidori, 3 Mawile, Cleffa, Elekid, and Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex.
I like that lol
