You can feel that back area if you say "caw" inhale through your mouth very quickly, that cool air you feel will hit the soft palate.... I think that may help some folks trying to find that area once they ascend in their range.

@@bertrandravoux8091 Sorry about that. But you're in luck, I just published my booking page. So you should be able to get in touch that way and book a lesson if you like.

I've heard that the dramatic tenor passaggio can be around D4/Eb4. I can't lie, I'm really having an extremely hard time coming to grips with being a baritone. Part of me is strongly questioning if I even want to sing anymore.

I can relate. Singing can test the soul more than anything. The problem you're most likely having is you're singing too thick and too heavy. My recommendation is to lighten it up, I.e. falsetto and pianissimo singing only, and find that meeting point between soft and loud. Tread carefully into louder singing! It honestly takes a TON of practice and time but you should notice a difference within a couple of weeks. Let me know if that helps.

Hi. I am glad I found your video series, so first of all, thank you ! I am trying to understand the structural difference between your high voice through the "placement" versus the reinforced head voice or "mixed voice". I am thinking they end up at the same place/goal in terms of "placement", "Resonance", ""Space" and "Connection to the Body", just taking different path/route, tool, process or mental image ? I'd very much appreciate if you could help clarify. By the way, I am using "The Voice of the Mind" by E. Herbert-Caesari. Is this the same school of thought regarding "placement", or different ? Thank you again.

@@tomsayan21 hi Tom, great question. There is some discrepancy in terms of language here. But for me, head voice is a full sound whereas falsetto or mixed voice is a different thing. Important to note that falsetto, generally speaking, is not connected try the body. But there is some debate about that. It may depend on voice type.
In any case you are absolutely right the placement of falsetto and mixed voice is perfect. And working in that way into the full voice sound is a very good and healthy practice.
Please let me know if you have more questions. You can always email me as well.

@@Anders_Ray_Voice Thanks again for your clarification - this is very helpful. Based on how you described above, this is how I now see the comparison between mixed and head ->
mixed (no to limited resonance, medium space, no connection to body)
      vs
head (ample resonance, ample space, strong connection to body)
and that mix to head transition through "placement" may be possible. Thank you !

@@tomsayan21 Glad I could help. Indeed if you can make a seamless transition between falsetto -> mixed -> head voice then you are a god among men!

If you start with mm or just a hum in fact it will help you find your falsetto.

You’re not understanding falsetto. Because you’re trying to go from disconnected falsetto to connected, which is absolutely impossible. You have a disconnected falsetto and connected falsetto. You’re right that you can slide from low notes right into reinforced falsetto or head. 🙏🏾❤️😎
