I feel very fortunate to have grown up in Lake Tahoe, and spent a lot of time in desolation wilderness and very thankful that we did not have all the technology back then because I think many of today’s younger generations probably don’t do as much of it. Full frame Lumix S5, no color correcting ala Kraig Adams, dual MK416's audio, quite trail walking, camp scenes, filling water, making coffee, chopping veggies for backcountry omelets, backlit peaks, early morning light, it all just story blocks itself.
You forgot the part where there's tourists everywhere and you gotta pick up trash for 10miles and just when you thought you had the place to yourself the Bluetooth speaker group shows up

This is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours and it was beautiful! I feel the same way, I grew up in pollock pines CA, about an hour away from Tahoe and the mountains make me feel the same way. It’s so peaceful and calming being in nature, surrounded by all the be things it has to offer, Tahoe is a gorgeous place and being able to live there would be a dream come true! I feel like nature gets taken for granted, we’re always consumed by our phones, technology and there’s so much more to the world than that, some people would rather watch videos about things like this than actually go out and be In it. Absolutely stunning video!

Loved the video and the shots of Emerald Bay in Tahoe. In 1977 when I was 21 I moved to Tahoe Keys … that vantage point was one of my favorite nearby spots to decompress. Also nearby Camp Richardson and Fallen Leaf Lake. The vibe you created brought me back to a special time and place. The post-snippet commercial was kind of a buzz kill… I hate to say that… I know sponsorship is part of the deal. Other than that you provided a special 7 minutes and for that I’m grateful

You both killlled it! Amazing work, and superrrr relatable btw! Nothing beats being in the mountains to clear my mind, although i also do practice meditating. I find it easiest to focus when thinking of a candle flame when I meditate, otherwise my mind will start to wander off again haha
