This song is actually so relatable if you think of it as a metaphor. The pressure of you being somebody's only reason to live, which gets them obsessed with you. It finally gets to such a bad point where you begin disliking them and can only silently hope they stop loving you so damn much.

@@siy0 I agree with you. The fact there are some people in the mme fanbase who idealise/idolise the band rather than focus on their music is really disgusting and it makes me feel uncomfortable. The members all have personal lives of their own, and they are not your “gods”/“saviours”/“idols”/etc, they’re humans like you and me. I’ve been a fan of their music for a year now, and ever since I got into them, I stuck with the fans who loved them for their music, rather for their looks and such, and I would never even dream of speaking to the toxic fans. Sadly this is prevalent in many rock band fanbases, which is a shame, imo. The same can be said for other fanbases. Imo every fanbase is toxic. There are many reasons why I’m part of the fan communities and not the fanbases, this is one of them.
@ you hit the right note! and fanbase treat them especially kyuho as if their bias and oppa, which is kyuho really hate plus he hate kpop and everything about it, it is really disgusting and even i feel very uncomfortable (i bet so do they). the more time passes the less difference between being a kpop fan and this thing. even if sometimes their musics repeat themself it still doesn't change the fact that their musics are unique and hit so different. it makes no sense to be fan of them instead of enjoy of their musics.

Totally agree, kyuho has been expressing with his lyrics the hatred he feels towards the systems or people that oppress your thoughts, as well as the idealization of people and ideas that only make people idiotic. Some people of the community just don’t take the time to think about the letters or the mean behind a song. That for me denotes who is a true fan of the band beyond the visual or musical.

also the parallel with jesus... a savior who sacrificed himself, who's idolized and glorified, with the lyrics "my flesh and blood wont fill up your void" make me think about how people nowadays are constantly trying to distract themselves from their own lifes and try to "fill the void" with celebrities, "loving" them, obsessing over them, searching not for an artist, a human being who breathes and makes mistakes, but a perfect idol to be loved and adored like their jesus, their god, the savior from their boring lives. this song can be interpreted in so many ways. man i love art

It's really interesting, it reminds me of the lyrics of "suicidol" where he says that he stills loves us (or his beloved person irl) but he just can't love himself anymore, that he's our idol, our suicidol and the one who fills our void. That we feel miserable and that he knows how we feel, so to end this all, he'll die instead of us, the person we look up to, will no longer be here.
It makes me think that he feels guilty for having a bad impact on people who love him, so he wants them to stop putting him on a pedestal and following him. But because that is not very likely to happen, especially in relationships between people so depressed who often get obsessive over their partner, he's gonna solve it by leaving the world.. that's my impression of this song, I think it's absolutely genius, and I hope Kyuho can be kind to himself 🤍

@@littleravennikoI think there’s definitely some truth in idealization and savior image projection from the fan base in the lyrics but we can only assume what Kyuho’s thoughts behind this are. The lyrics hit close to home, it’s a wonderful song
@@littleravennikoAlso, I think the death that comes after glorifying could be interpreted as a death of a person’s true identity, for the idealization just erases on the imperfections and a personality as a whole, blindly making that person into something they’re not. And the moment that happens the real “they” are dead

MADMANS ESPRIT SAVED MY LIFE
ITS SO HIGH BUDGET !!! I want to make a detailed costume/background study alongside some illustrations so bad but I don't have enough free time 😭😭 I will definitely work on it slowly but surely. This mv was a visual masterpiece and the lyrics were strong as usual, the vocals keep getting better and better and so did the instrumentals ,I dreamt of this release for so long and I'm so glad it's finally here . I really love the use of a 8 strings guitar for Juho. I didn't see if it was the same for Somyul. Anyway, I'm amazingly surprised. I also love the slapping part bass from Geon. Maybe am I wrong but I feel like the guitar melody is more complex than the previous ones. Well, kinda logical with two more strings though. I saw in the youtube description video that there will be a piano version. I'm very intrigued by it. Can't wait !
