Emerging from the vibrant underground music scene of Seoul, South Korea, Madmans Esprit is the brainchild of enigmatic artist Kyuho. With a lineup of session musicians, their intense live performances captivate audiences with a dynamic fusion of Depressive Suicidal Black Metal (DSBM), progressive metal, post-rock, ambient, and death metal, infused with classical and folk influences. Their label, "Depressive Suicidal Blackened Pop," encapsulates their avant-garde approach. Kyuho's vocals, ranging from piercing screams to operatic passages, deliver lyrics that delve into the darkest corners of human existence, offering both personal introspection and profound philosophical insights.

The words are powerful. Everything is effective. Kyuho In the MV speaks directly to rapists, putting himself in the skin of a victim: lying all along, stomach open, intestines sticking out: the victims are only meat: Made to be consumed from the point of view of rapists. The take from above puts us in the skin of the/ villains who make/ faces Kyuho. This surely aims to put a malaise in the viewer
The musicians, playing their instruments around Kyuho’s body, are stained with blood. They can clearly represent accomplices or culprits on the situation of Kyuho, who is here a victim.
But it goes further than that in my eyes: Extracts from the MV show body parts wrapped in polyester trays with plastic film, as one could pack red or white meat, for later consumption, in the future
You can see fingers, face, ears. Here, he denounces the fact that no matter what we do, our whole body is reduced to being meat in the eyes of predators.
And the fact that we’re wrapped like meat, shows that it just became something hyper common, banal. And the predators are right there doing their shopping wherever they want, whenever they want
The lyrics "' I am here, well trimmed to be eaten". My meat on your tongue loving me." "My meat on your tongue molesting me."

The end of the mv, where the musicians leave Kyuho’s "lifeless" body, in a nonchalant step, sums up everything: Rape victims are left for dead. What happens to them? Once they have been abused in this way?
This would make Dir en Grey proud. This so visceral and disturbing that is simple perfect as art. Art doesn't need to be beautiful always, if it makes you think, it's art

Agreed. The horror genre is the perfect example. Horror can have some of the most amazing, emotional and thought provoking content when there's a lot of passion and creativity behind it.

Okay the composition of everything is perfect. It shows so much growth since they first began.
This song has always been one of my favorites on the album, and seeing the lyrics here confirms that. From "I am here, well trimmed to be eaten" to "Blind spot of your side glance" it resonates, to the point that the line "Use me as a mirror" pushes me into a nearly metacognitive space while watching this video. Excellent song + video!
