I always learn something watching your vids! I had the relays in my Sportster go bad and Harley charged me $300 to look into the problem and do what you did. They won't get me twice..thanks man
I have a Monster M600 from 97, had the same issue and sorted it by disconnecting the battery and putting it back (actually I took it out to charge but th end result was the same), solenoid became de-energised and reset itself. Awesome video, thanks
I've got a 2005 S2R800, great bike. Two years ago I had a breakdown on the way. Engine just cut out completely. After 10 minutes it started again, but had the same problem later that day. Called my mechanic. He pointed out: either 1) the relays under the fueltank, or 2) the crankshaft sensor. It turned out the sensor was broken. Replacing it took a Ducati dealer 5 minutes. Cost was reasonable, at around US $ 100
Thank you for your comment. Glade you are up and running. This will help. Electric problems ####. Sounds like you got the right guy. Ride Safe and have a great day.
That's the problem you want to do what's right by letting the dealer diagnostically check for the issue and they will charge you an arm and a leg and it's a shame so what many do is go the other route by learning to do themselves and why not if they can so can you. Thanks that was interesting and knowledgeable.
The tank shrinks back if you give it some time with non ethanol fuel, or empty. Had mine for nearly 3 years now, and it's crazy how much it's returned.
