Thanks a lot for another great video, as an upcoming large scale farmer in africa, this your videos gives me a lot of knowledge abaut tractors, be blessed sir, again this is my first time to see a callas tractor at work
Your RUclips channel is quite amazing BTP! All your content is very well done and is very educational. RUclips channels like your are far and few now days but I can always count on you to have a quality video that's also clean material. If people watched videos like yours and MNmillennialfarner and etc the world would be a much better place. I have been lucky in life and have been taught by a few great old timers and growing up they always said the downfall of the country will be when all the small farms go away. Now since I am older and have seen most of the last small farms go away theres more truth in that saying than I like to admit. Please keep making videos I hope one day it'll bring you great success that you deserve.
Thank you Sam. It’s fun filming and sharing farming. Farms are growing up but family’s are still involved in them. I am looking forward to the 2019 farming season.
no, it´s not only for the US market. The XERION runs here in Germany at almost every major contractor. The only difference is that the most XERION tractors in Europe have no duals because of the width
nice video. The XERION ist a very versatile tractor. Here in Germany contractors use him for many various jobs like pushing silage on the pit, spreading manure or operating it with a wood chipper. Some manufactors like Kaweco offers special versions of her tankers with goose neck coupler for the XERION Especially interesting is the turnig cab. So you can drive in both directions with the same speed. Also they offer a special SaddleTrac version (don´t know if available in USA).
You don’t see many Claas 5000 tractors in Australia, great vid on this tractor👍lucky combine Header is not any bigger n long unloading auger those wheels of tractor must be pretty close to Header. What else does this tractor do on the farm?
These are normal in Canadia but there a rare site to see on the Murican side. Not as rare as they once were but there's a better chance of coming across a Big Bud than a Claas on this side of the line.
Either some one was still training as grain cart operator or someone forgot to close the hopper bottoms on the trailers cause there were some big piles of wheat on the road. Great video.
There was an issue with another grain cart that broke down. It was fully loaded and it had a shaft break. They worked on it by the trucks and the Claas dealer brought the Demco 1050 to keep the combines going.
That's how early case tractor turned took some getting used to we had a baby Stieger that could use front steering for row crop use and it also had request 4 wheel steering
Crab steer early international had them 4wheel drive. 4100. Early case 1200 then 1470 had crab steer up till case IH took them over Stieger eventually merged with Case I h
What is the biggest difference you have seen between a case, new holland, steiger, titan, big bud, and claas 4wd tractors? Maybe even do a video bigtractorpower
Hey great video bigtractorpower! I didn't know that Claas sold tractors in the USA. I knew that the combine harvesters are but not the tractors. Did they ever make a tractor like Versatile and New Holland had, the bidirectional that the operator could turn his seat around all the way to the back?
Yes Claas sells the Xerion 5000 and 4500 here and introduced the Axion 810 to 880 to the U.S. Market in 2018. Here is a video I made on the Axion intro m.ruclips.net/video/Zb9xGBn6eT8/видео.html
I like this tractor much better than the Fendt 1000s which is what they compete with ... I Just wish Claas would brand the Engine in the US Version as a Detroit DD13 which it basically is since that name would catch more eyes and sell better ... now if they would just drop the cat yellow on the combine since Agco has a new Mega Combine that they will push
@@Blake_Painter I can't say that they are terrible but there sure is enough big fleets running the Detroit Engines but truck application is not as hard as farm either
bigtractorpower I wasn't expecting it but just the usual throttle, transmission and hydraulic controls, cab read outs/screens etc. I don't think many would have seen inside one 👍👍
When the field was sprayed in the spring this part of the field was very wet. The sprayers left deep deep ruts. They were running slow to cross the ruts.
Oh that would be awesome! While marketing is key I don't believe that Claas has a bad image in the US market. Their silage choppers are known for efficiency and reliability especially in the day of clean diesel emissions. Someone should tell them to just ditch CAT all together and promote what they have at good prices.
@@cliffh8486 ... What ever marketing person makes the decision to change will either be a hero or lose his job... lol. Class may not have a bad reputation in the states but Catapillar is so much part of US history that moving away from the brand completely may not be an easy sell. ☺

I know they went through a phase a few years ago where their excavators imported into Ireland had to have all of the flexible hydraulic hose replaced because they were not up to spec but I didn't realise they had such a bad reputation at home. May well be the reason Agco want to distance themselves from the yellow brand.
I filmed both on grain cart duty in the same day. The Xerion is very nice. I have to give to edge to the Challenger 1000. The Xerion has excellent cab visibility like no other 4wd.
I have to ask why haven't these big machinery companies paired these giant tractors with a 53" trailer ? I mean these monsters could easily pull it.......Man I hope they have some sort of air cleaner or some one is going to get a breathing disorder lol

The Xerion 5000 on quad duals is such a cool looking machine!!!
you the quad trac machines right these can go laterally anywhere
I really think these are cool tractors. Wish we could see more of them
I agree I am very impressed by the ones that I’ve had an opportunity to ride and drive.
I think Claas has the best looking tractor on the market. Also the can that rotates to the back is genius.
So happy to see a video on the Xeron! One of my favorite tractors!
It’s an impressive tractor.
Class machines best forever! Thanks for the video!!!
Thank you for watching. It was fun to spend time in the field with the Xerion.
I have always been intrigued by the Xerion. It is a huge tractor
That's team work at it's best!! Nice looking tractor!!
I’m glad you posted this! I’ll be getting a Xerion 5000 to demo on dirt buckets in a few weeks.
Wow dirt moving would be cool to see a Xerion doing.

That's a beast. Seen one running triple mowers. Awesome machine.
Thanks for the new video. You don't see many of this brand around Illinois.
Dan Lowery mostly just John deer and case
Thanks BTP. I have always wanted to see one of these work in the field. I have seen on on a dealer lot.
Thank you for watching. It is a neat tractor to see in action.
Brian’s Farming Videos wouldn’t mind that 780TT and George eyeing up Xerion , personally I like the Fendt ideal combine design/layout more
I’d take them both in a heartbeat especially if someone else was floating the bill lol
Nice video big T 👍👍👍
That is one cool looking tractor with the duals on. 🚜🚜🚜
I was hoping you got a video of this big brute! Thank you!
Gotta love Claas

WOW! What an amazing video! Is Claas the only rigid frame 4WD tractor in production today?
You mean 4 wheel steer and not 4wd
JCB fastrac series are rigid framed 4ws steer also .

Is there any movement to compete with the fendt two track which is now largest tractor on market. Where are these tractors marketed what dealership
for filling trucks, it would be convenient for the xerion driver to rotate the cab.
Great idea wonder if you have to have the cab completely turned 180. Would be awsome for in unloading in 90 position
Thanks again for another fine video, BTP. I'm ready for this year's farm work. Are you considering coming to the Bootheel this fall?

It´s produced in Harsewinkel, Germany

Cool video and nice tractor but does it really have some problems with electronics as many farmers can say?
Do the newer xerions still have differential housing cracking problem
What end products does that winter wheat go to ?? Thanks.
It is milled for flour. I have heard McDonalds Hamburger buns is a market for it.

I wish they would actually make a more powerful full tracked version
They currently offer the 5000 on 4 tracks. It is 517 hp. Maybe they will offer a larger tractor in the future.

How is the combine running without the header auger?
It's a draper header has canvases on bottom to take crop to center. The top augers r there if have fluffy crop to hold it down
@@jwsrules123 ah okay. Never seen a draper head with augurs. Interesting design
@@conormurphy2653 it's mostly used for Canola
The extra augers are for canola harvesting get. The canola is bushy and hard to feed in.
👍
Filmed with the 780TT in other video you commented on. 2,800 field.
Whats the purpose of having the tires on the grain cart backwards?
They are a nonpulling tire, they will wear more even and not bounce as bad either when put on background.
That is a very different tractor. I wonder if Claas is planning an even larger version? 517 hp isn't all that big anymore today.
Claas just introduced a 4 track version. No word on more horse power.
Xerion 12.650 Der neueste Claas.
Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice jobs
The field looks dry enough to just send the rigs in and get the load from the combine. Save on the dump twice.
Why do they combine diagonal to the way that the field was planted?
David Curtis Crowell can speak for this farmer but we do it because it seems to cut and feed better
David Curtis Crowell it also means that the cutter sections get used evenly across the whole cutter bar
So this machine has all wheel steering in lieu of articulation..?
Yes.
You should get a camera with a wider lense for the incab shots
I'd much rather be driving one of these than driving a desk

Yes it does. Case called it crab steer.
