- On April 28, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a Circle K in reference to a disturbance. It was reported that a female subject had entered the store and attempted to purchase gas, coffee, and lottery tickets with a $100 bill. The clerk did not have change to break the $100, which led to an altercation between the clerk and woman. When officers arrived, they found the woman and clerk outside the store arguing. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
Footage on Body Cam Watch is for educational purposes only. All information has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies and is considered by law to be public information. The subjects in these videos are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Eww! This reminds me of the customers I had to deal with when I worked in retail. I was a store manager at dollar general & it was the worst 7 years of my life. People threw things at me when I wouldn't have change, ran out with carts full of merchandise, called me mean names & threatened my life. I once had this junkie go into the bathroom after I wouldn't sell her cigarettes (she didn't have an ID), and smeared her poop all over the wall. I had someone slash my tires after I caught him shoplifting. I had a lady go off on me after I told her I didn't have change in my drawer for $100 bill cause I had just opened the store. I told her she'd have to wait 10 mins for the safe but she said nope she didn't have time for that & walked out with the merchandise without paying. After 7 years, one day I woke up & was really struggling to get ready for work & I realized I had been dreading work everyday for years. I worked outside my city, about 30 miles, I was halfway to work when I turned around & went home. I called my district manager & told her I wasn't going back so she needed to send someone to open the store. 2 of my employees quit that same day & 2 more employees quit a few days later. We were all exhausted , that was a bad location & on top of crappy customers, the hours I was given to distribute to my 7 employee wasn't enough. So I was alone every morning for hours. I was doing 65-70 hour weeks. I'm so glad I got out of retail, rude people made an already hard job, twice as hard.
I’m so sorry. I’m glad you were able to get out.
I understand that. I'm a keyholder, and there are often days where I get those kind of customers. Either they would complain about a sale, or get frustrated that I couldn't sell them beer (mainly because their IDs expired). We had this one guy come in and go to explain to us that it's against federal law to refuse a $100 and that his stuff would be free. While I might not full know the struggles of opening a store (having only done it twice in my time), and any other frustrations that come with the SM job, I can understand how customers can be rude
They can’t pay me enough to work at a dollar type store
she talked herself into jail when no crime was committed. what a genius.
@peacepipenetwork No crime was committed? Re-watch the first part of the video, she ended up outside *with* the stuff she was going to buy but didn't pay for. At least there were the scratch-offs, a donut, and some coffee she sat on the trash can that I assume are the merchandise she was planning to buy. She was pissed that they couldn't accept her money so she was set on getting the stuff for free. She made it sound like they were blocking the doors after she had left everything on the counter, but it seems pretty clear since the stuff ended up outside in her possession that she was trying to leave without paying. She basically admits to as much, but excusing it by saying when the clerk put the tickets back on the counter and told her they couldn't break her $100 that she though they meant for her to take it. Sounds like they quickly clarified the situation and tried to grab the stuff she was picking up off the counter when the clerk 'slapped her hand and spilled the coffee all over her and the counter'. If no crime was committed, it was only because they blocked the door to prevent her from leaving with the stolen goods, but I've seen enough shoplifting videos to know that at least in some jurisdictions the intent to leave is all that is required and you don't have to wait for them to leave the property. I wonder what happened exactly when the first cops got there that we don't see. My guess is she was trying to push past the cashiers to get out while holding the "loot" when the cops arrived, so they brought her outside with it to talk to her and she sat it down on that trash can, including the scratch-offs, the coffee (which spilled all over?) and a donut...

I've seen old people you'd never suspect of doing anything wrong, steal petty items just to do it and I've also seen wealthy people absolutely lose their minds over a price difference less than $5. I was there a little over a year until I got back to a machine that can't shout at me for the "grass seed I bought from you isn't growing" and I feel 1 year minimum and mandatory customer service jobs would really curve a lot of those issues. Ever since that job/experience, I try to be as nice as possible to people in those positions.
My first job after college was at a gas station. I quit after two months. Nobody gets paid enough for the bullshit gas station employees have to deal with.
@Ark-413 especially when you work hard to obtain a college degree. Hopefully everything worked out for you.
She has an unhealthy obsession with "Mexican's having $100 bills"
I just discovered this channel, subbed. “for some reason every Mexican has a hundred dollar bill” lol
Videos like these make me stop complaining about my parents.
Haha!!! Same!!!
Aw shut up 😂
Well her's were clearly related. 😂
All I can say is I'm very glad they didn't have video cameras and cell phone recordings when I was a kid!
My parents would be RUclips famous! They were the poster child for white trash. I have no idea how I ended up as a reasonably adjusted, somewhat productive adult.
Boom!!!! This is the best comment I've read under these kinds of videos
Love it when the police shut the door on perps as they rant...
She gave me a huge headache trying to watch this 🤦🏼♀️
The boxers at K-Mart! Charlie Babbit! 🤪
the monogrammed pot leaf hoodie really ties her ensemble together.
She needs some badly😊
Omg... she never shuts up and listens! Gotta commend these cops for their patience! I couldn't do it.
Well, she is a female and a Karen, so………
Yeah how she does not understand you never get someone on their side by constantly running your mouth and cussing everyone out.
When they wont even shut up for a second to listen to what the police has to say, you know they are in the wrong.
These people probably have this idea that if they just talk and talk about how wrong they were treated, this will become the truth.
@@donaldjones9830Karen is played out get creative
@@queenofnyc5584 You're point? Karen is in the name of the video you watched
@@donaldjones9830 From my experience, very-few women are like this...
Never let your mouth overrun your brain 🧠 if you have one.
Clerk had right to refuse $100 bill. That is common sense.
it's crazy how some people respond to minor inconveniences.
It's crazy they wouldn't even let her wait to have change to break her $100 when she was getting over $50 worth of stuff
@@ER0CK5_ that is if you believe methany .. which I do not ...
This isnt minor
@@ER0CK5_ She is clearly an addict and started freaking out at the cashier. You think she was polite at the counter?!
drugs
The girl needs a debit card and the ability to judge the relative importance of things.
Well stated
I think you have to pay for lottery tickets in cash, but you're not wrong.
And better judgement on where to get tattoos . lol
Obviously she has a debit card... There wasn't any money in her account hence why she's trying to use cash instead..
Well said!
I love when they go from psycho to crying in seconds. Tough girl to tulip in mere seconds…. I’m the bipolar one 😂😢😊
When you're in the wrong and beg the police to check the surveillance footage 😂 they tell you to leave and you still get yourself arrested 🤦♀️ genius 😂😂
As soon as she started talking about "the Mexicans" and "these people", I knew she was trouble.
You were still uncertain by then?
You are slow
Definitely lost any credence at that point. Acting like they were less than. And continues with more comments with "those Mexicans" this and "those Mexicans" that.
Many stores don't accept large bills. Has stations are notoriously one of the most dangerous jobs. Keeping large bills in cash registers creates more targets.
@@Hevensdragon Well, it was only 1 minute and 9 seconds into the video, so, yes.
@@lockdown19 I'm open-minded & I don't make snap judgments when I watch a video based on the title. She said "the other Mexicans" at the 1:09 mark, so it's not being "slow" to watch one minute of a video before making a determination, Good Lord.
Imagine causing a scene over $100 and then needing to use it to bond out of jail.
I’m starting to wonder if the hundred dollar bill is counterfeit. 😂🙌🏻
@Sandi-ke9mi it's not.
How would she deal with a real crisis😂
@@isay207 Poorly. I’m sorry she has a three-year-old. 🤦🏼♀️
@@redfordreddington8834 And your basis for saying that is..? Statistically, if there's nothing else going on and we can consider it a bill selected randomly from the entire set of (both real and fake) $100 bills, it's *probably* legit. The clerk never had a chance to check it, and we don't know how carefully the police examined it. We don't know if that woman's obvious toxicity extends to intentionally trying to pass counterfeit money.
It’s one of those times when the book fits the cover 🤗
So she already knew they couldnt take a 100, yet acts like shes been singled out and mistreated when she does the same thing. I love how all these weirdos use their kids as a reason to hurry it up.
FYI most small stores are not allowed to take $100 bills, some won’t take $50 bills. We constantly drop cash into the safe so we can’t make change. I thought this was common knowledge
She knew it, she just has gotten her way before by being a bish so she tried to do it again.
You would think it is. I delivered pizza for a long time and the number of times I was handed a $100 bill is A LOT. Most people who have never worked in the service industry don't understand this.
hundred dollar bill as about 4 things today
@@anton6686 Sir, this is a Wendy's 🤣
Common sense is not so common
Yeah I’m gonna go out on a limb and say she’s indeed been in trouble a day in her life before this.
" you can't do nothiiiing"😂
As a former convenience store cashier I saw a lot of this kind of behavior. I made a lot of calls to the police. I do NOT miss those days. Everything from beer runs to counterfeit money, drunk people harassing other customers and or passing out on the property or in the bathrooms. Had to call ambulances a few times. Once had a diesel cab overheat and catch fire right next to the pump, had police and fire there for a couple hours. Never a dull moment working the gas station life!
I personally give you a Kudos for the way you managed to survive that job. I was there, too, for 14 months back in the late '90s. And when I was finally able to end that job and move on to something else lined up for me, I did not get out of that job quite the same as a person as I was when I first got that job.
@@kevinhabener1279 I completely understand. I worked there for 18 years. Had to leave for health reasons. The saying “I was a people person until people ruined it.” Is 100% accurate. Our store was the closest thing to a truck stop in town. We were located on the highway and just a couple miles from a dry reservation and the city is home to a very large tourist attracting lake. We were always busy. We also filled propane tanks, had a check cashing/money order making area and made fishing licenses for both AZ and UT (the lake was in both states). Of course since we offered all these other services in addition it also had the opportunity for more potential problems. Fraudulent checks, stolen money orders, people driving off after getting propane filled without paying, getting slammed last minute with huge groups of people wanting fishing licenses right before closing ect. You really see an ugly side of people when you work in public service. I had a guy throw a bag of peanuts at me because he was pissed at the cost and couldn’t understand that when the deal was 2 for 1$ but you only got 1 bag it wasn’t .50 cents but .59 cents because it therefore wasn’t part of the deal (I mean Planters printed it on the bag themselves for crying out loud). Seriously, throwing something at a cashier over 9 cents. 🤦♀️🙄
Thank you for being one of those people who do that job. You must’ve had to deal with so many crazy people. Anyway, it seems like a drag of a job and you’re exposed to nut jobs, some maybe armed. But people like you provide an essential service that’s rarely appreciated. Thank you for being one of those people.
All the best.
There was a fuel leak at a station I lived by. I guess someone drove off while pumping, snapping the line pouring fuel. Attendant hit the big red button thinking it was supposed to cut the pumps off. It was the fire system. Whole parking lot and store front was white for weeks.
@@kevinhabener1279I can relate, granted, I worked not as long at my 2 gas station jobs at it was 2012 & 2017 ( the former being a flying j pilot truck stop) and yeah don’t miss it at all. I respect others so much who are working in that position. And that goes triple for cops having to deal with these people
They never hold themselves accountable. Thank You Officers!
