Your mother is not proud of you if you had a 6 on your test, so a 6 to me is like: meh. A 7 is decent but I'm unlikely to come back to it. 8 is good. I wouldn't recommend anything below 8 to a friend.
Very glad to see more metal covered on this channel. This particular release didn't spark my interest all that much despite numerous listens in anticipation of potentially reviewing it but it never really caught on for me. I agree with most of your points here. It's a solid record, somewhere around the 6.5/10 mark for me. That being said, I would very much love to hear you talk about the new Serpent Column or Ulcerate records as I think they're both very heavy, noisy and right up your alley--not to mention I know you've enjoyed and mentioned Ulcerate quite a bit in the past!

That ending was top quality, melon, I love the way you really accentuated the word ‘Forever’ to an astounding melodic piece that really catches the ear with the vocal’s and instrumental. 10/10

Very cool you still review stuff like this even though it's destined for a relatively low view count. Hat's off. Personally I've been somewhat burned out on this grimy, atmospheric black/death style that was a lot fresher 8-9 years ago but this is one of the more enjoyable releases in this vein I've heard in awhile.
Also, speaking of death metal, do you have any thoughts on the new Ulcerate? I know... I keep on bringing up bands you've already reviewed in the past.
Review the new Dance Gavin Dance record Afterburner. I think it's a DGD record you'd finally be able to appreciate and maybe even enjoy. But mainly curious to see your take on it cuz it is possibly there ambitious LP to date.
