Just got a response from my contact over at Sennheiser confirming that this is indeed using the same drivers as the HD560s. Main difference is a slightly different color/finish and the additional coiled cable.
Maybe worth noting: It's likely that (just as on the 560S) the supplied cables are 4-core. So, if you desire, the equipment-end TRS plug can be cut off and replaced with a balanced Pentaconn or XLR connector.....provided that you're OK with soldering and dealing with Litz cables. (You can of course buy ready-made balanced cables, but you might want to convert the supplied ones).
Enjoyed your review man. I'm interested in the 560s, is there any real difference between the two? Aside from the cable, all back aesthetic and price? Thanks.
@@ArianTashakkor Not the best person to answer as I have personally not heard the 560s yet but reading/listening to impressions of people that I trust, I'd say it's highly likely the sound is just identical with the 560s.

Just what i thought! I predict that they will stop selling 560s ))) They really underpriced them at the start)
Love watching your reviews, no nonsense and straight to the point honest opinions. You deserve more subs!

Still waiting to hear from my contact on Sennheiser to see if the 560s and 400 Pro have identical drivers. WIll keep you posted. :-)
Just got the confirmation from my Sennheiser contact that this indeed the same as the HD560s
i think this is the direct replacement sa hd380 pro though this time open back na siya.
I was wondering what happened to the HD 380, I love those
Did Sennheiser PH tell you when this will be available?
No word from them, or the APAC Manager I was in touch with. But I was told JB Music will be carrying this model
I have the 58X and 560S. would these be good for studio work, namely mixing and mastering. Hmmmm....
I think so. The H560s is essentially the HD400 Pro with tweaked look. I dont think I've heard the 58X yet so can't really comment on that.
Sana all
I wonder when will these be available locally
I was not given a specific timeline but I think Q1 2022 is their target
How's this compare to 560s?
Have not heard the 560s. Still waiting to hear from my contact on Sennheiser to see if the 560s and 400 Pro have identical drivers
@@HeadphonePH get a pair
@@busywl69 No need. Confirmed with Sennies, these are the same with the 560s. Please check the pinned comment.
These are weird. 560s reborn
I know! The only physical difference that I could spot was the HD400 pro has a more muted logo on the cups & an added coiled cable for studio use.
How do these compare to the 560S in terms of imaging and sound stage? Do you consider this as an upgrade over the 560S?

@@HeadphonePH Thanks a lot!
@@ArianTashakkor after seeing a frequency response graph I'd say that they are a downgrade
