Fantastic! The robots are starting to look more finsihed, more autonomous, less, "Stick built". They should. Compare the tanks of WWI to the refined models of WWII and present, which sortof exemplifies what I am talking about. Robots are beginning to look like they have come to their "mid-design" life---smoothing the design out a bit more and they will gain the look of "ready to go". This one has come a long way toward that goal. Top notch performance!

Looks great, but what happens if it tips over to the side (assuming I have some payload or camera attached)?

Wow! That is quite impressive, and good for its size at overcoming obstacles. But what if it's in a tricky environment, and it needs to make a 90 degree turn? Is it able to do so with the tracks in any configuration?

On flat terrain, wouldn't it be able to go faster, or at least use less energy for the same speed, if it was standing on the tips of the legs (the part with the smaller wheel)?

I had a RC version, the Tarantula. It was a little bit smaller and about 100x slower.
RIP Tarantula, it drowned in the house flood.
