I feel like the SUV is the final evolution of every van dweller. Its a practical vehicle for nearly any situation, including living in. When you get tired of living in it, it serves you well as a daily driver.
Car buyers wanted 4WD SUVs since the 80s but manufactures didn't make them, finally Toyota came out with the 4Runner (HiLux ute with a canopy) and everyone wanted one. I was looking for a 4WD SUV / Van since the 70s, I had to wait 20 years.

The awning looks cool, but it’s a huge pain in the butt. I’ve been dealing with the company for months now. When it finally breaks I’ll get something much more simple. The fan on the other hand is awesome, and I totally recommend it. amzn.to/4dAeHUD
I bought the WeatherTech front windshield cover, and it's just okay. It doesn't exactly fit my windshield, even though I bought one for my specific model and year. There seem to be limitations that they can't get around. 😕
For trips I think it's super awesome, it looks like all high quality sturdy stuff. For full time though I think I'd do my nut. Interesting how you went from the bike to the astro to bigger and bigger and now all the way back to this tiny.
I also went from single to having a partner and a dog. I’m totally used to the 4Runner now. Cooking and bad weather days suck, but everything else is totally fine for me.
Oh Jed, Jed, Jed...dude, stay away from those Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. I know they're good and we love 'em, but they are literally fat pills! What else have you got in there, Ben & Jerry's ice cream? It's a lot harder to stay slim as we get older, which I'm sure you're already noticing. And if you need any motivation to stay skinny, just tack up a picture in your SUV of Axl Rose from a few years ago.

😂 I’m starting to slow down a little bit, but I stay active and it still doesn’t matter what I eat. I just work it off.
