So is Panama living reasonable? I was looking at currency exchange and their dollar is pretty much equal to the USD. Anyways, I was in Colombia recently and was very impressed with the fine cuisine one will pay less compare to living in New York. For example, I had like a 5 star meal for 3 people and it came out pretty inexpensive. Is the cost of living in Panama similar to like someone living in Colombia?
@@LuisDiaz-oe1uh Hey! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏼 I can only speak for Panama City as we didn’t explore the rest of the country this trip. It’s liveable for sure but it doesn’t feel like you’re getting a “sweet deal” on basics like other countries. Groceries are slightly cheaper than the states but yes it is 1 to 1 and everyone takes USD. Colombia is DEFINITELY cheaper, I wouldn’t compare the two.
Yo im in Colombia right now, im considering Panama next. If you have any suggestions, they will be appreciated! I live everywhere I go for at least 3 months, if the visa allows.
@@Retired_Grunt Amazing! How do you like Colombia? I spent a few months there in 2022 and fell in love with the country. I wish I had more recommendations for Panama as a whole but we only stayed in the city during our time there. Lots to do if you enjoy city lifestyle but we missed out on San Blas and Bocas
@@Caitlinsway I’am absolutely loving it here! No worries about the recommendations, I’m just curious as to what areas are considered safe. I’m thinking of living in Panama, chile or Buenos Aires Argentina. Just trying to get as much information as I can. God speed and safe travels to ya!
Thanks for visit 🇵🇦🌎
