  • President Biden describes Syracuse, N.Y.'s comeback story, "creating new jobs, new businesses, new hope." Biden said he fell in love with Central NY as a college student. He graduated from Syracuse University’s law school in 1968 and started his family with wife Neilia in Syracuse. Biden spent most of his 15-minute speech touting the success of the CHIPS and Science Act in luring Micron and other semiconductor manufacturers to build new plants in the United States. He also expressed his condolences for two officers killed in the line of duty April 14, Onondaga Sheriff's Lt. Michael Hoosock and Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen.
