i hope slot and the team getting a lot of titles. But it will never change anything klopp has done! Rebuild and implementing the new LIV style is the basis of future success - thats klopps legacy along with some titles. Yes true one or two league titles more would be right - but boy i had such a fantasic time from 2015-2020 every year improving.... in that time i learned to love LIV especially because there were defeats and how LIV reacted to that. If LIV turns into kind of city, winning a lot of titles - i would be happy, but .... When asked about my team, i used to reply : "i love football", but i recently found out it's LIV. Players like salah, vvd, trent, gomez - role models for professionals and serious work ethic with no social media crazies. Klopp and slot are two sides of the same medal. slot looks much better in tactical issues and improving LIV, but there would be no better coach than Klopp in 2015 given the net-spending of LIV.
@ at the start of the season yes. But after beating Leverkusen Madrid and city etc, that has stopped. It’s been mainly about Slot, Salah and also the contract situation
Liverpool and their fans will never forget Klopp. He's up there in that conversation with Paisley and Shankly. Had it not been for an outstanding City team under one of the GOATs, he'd probably be a 3-time EPL champion. The fact that he's been barely been spoken about isn't a slight on him, it's a compliment to Slot and the quality of the squad that both Klopp and Slot have helped nurture.
Let's get one thing straight here, Liverpool are where they are because of Klopp. He put the club back amongst the elite as Shankly once did. Paisley continued building on that solid foundation laid by Shankly and was one of football's greatest managers in his own right. His multiple domestic and European trophies proves that. Slot has the ability to take Liverpool to the next level and even more success because, like Paisley, he's not trying to fix what isn't broken and has tremendous skills of his own to shape an even greater Liverpool team. This is not about Klopp's legacy because his place in Liverpool's history is assured.
@@lifeinlife24 Klopp did it without 130 financial cheating charges, less money and despite two titles being stolen due to PGMOL corruption. Laugh at that.

Klopp is not just a manager. He is a transformative leader who fundamentally changed the LFC from doubters to believers again, established a very solid foundation for LFC to be more successful when he left. He is much more than just a coach and a manager of bunch of players. Slot is not in an apple to apple comparison to Klopp. When Klopp stepped in to LFC, he has a lot of to do to rebuild the LFC reputation, regain the trust of their fans, the trust of the owners, the trust of the players. Klopp and Slot have a different mission when they stepped in to the LFC family.
How can you not love Klopp, He attracted great footballers to Liverpool ,gave us good memories, He made us a team club feared to play, left the team in the better position financially and player wise, even Slot has sang His praises ever since. Klopp is Moses and slot is Joshua. Ynwa
If we wrap up the league with games to spare, it would be awesome for Arne to invite Jurgen on the sidelines to give him the experience of winning the league in front of an Anfield crowd.
Klopp said he wanted to leave a strong team behind, he left a team for his successor that is regarded right now as the best one in the world. What an absolute legend and icon of the beautiful game.
Slot is really a great coach and he has great management career ahead of himself .. I can see him being successful.. not trying to take anything away from him managers like klopp is what was needed when Liverpool were serious down fall every year since 2009/10 ownership .. fsg calmed down a bit but it’s klopps personality, values and character which has brought where lfc are where they are right now… he has set such a culture at Liverpool where I don’t think there has been fallout between players and even players from academy give everything in cup games .. he has brought in characters in such a way where everyone plays for the shirt.. guys like Trent , mo salah, Virgil, robbo, Alison have been very crucial for settling new players in the club with likes of Diaz, Nunez, gakpo, sobo, chiesa… even though the new lads might be inconsistent and lack quality sometimes but never can you fault their commitment .. The question of Liverpool right now is to the owners itself because there is foundation and everything right now but what are the plans/ambitions they have moving forward i.e. with bringing in new players or contracts… I feel if Liverpool win this years title it will be bigger than the one in 2019/20 just because it’s in front of crowd and the belief / confidence it will get within club , players and fans will be massive future seasons…covid took something out of that title even though it’s unbelievable and didn’t do justice to those players who went on 103/105 pts run in the league … it’s very very sad even though the players and coaches don’t want to admit it… still a long way to go but I hope Liverpool wins it this year because we as a club deserve after all these close title race disappointments and it’s very deserved for likes of mo salah, van dijk, Trent, alisson, and Robertson…
I agree. The culture he set of team first and no divas, has been the massive hidden gold mine he's unearthed and left after his reign. The scouting ideology of his and his recruitment team to first check the player's personality and who he is as a person before anything else, has been the silent game changer for the club's mentality after he took over and it's stayed that way giving us these amazing players for relatively cheap prices. We've had world-class players like Salah and TAA that could have gone down the Diva route with the amount of talent and performance they have shown but Salah tracks back just as hard even at 32 and TAA is still the same cheeky runt that likes a good scuffle at the derby. It's a culture close to SAF's at ManU but more warm and friendly and I hope it stays because it's a winner's formula and one that take a literal €1 billion squad to beat.
Guys have you forgotten he said.."it's not about what people think when you start but how people think when you leave" A great leader is measured by his predecessor..Klopp is the best..He left the LFC with the best squad
Kloppo will always be brought up and remembered; and everyone will always be compared to him. Just as it is with Shanks. Our future teams also- will be compared to his teams. Even if we win the prem this season, it will also be down to what a great side Klopp has left and what a great shape he's left this club in.
Klopp is the reason many Liverpool fans started to believe that they can win something big someday. That is the biggest trait that he has given to this club apart from the trophies he has won. Believe in our abilities and hope for the best.
If Slot wins PL this year, it is also a credit and testament to Klopp. After all it was 99% Klopp’s team. Both managers are incredibly loved and both are great!
Dan Thomas is 100% a troll. NOBODY was thought this was gonna be a "total rebuild." Literally this very show and Dan was like "Klopp's gonna change his mind isn't he. How can he leave this side now."
Difference with Liverpool is that he announced his departure months prior giving fans players time to mourn, the club time to find a new coach and accept he is going, and all to get excited about a new coach. When Fergie did it was a few weeks and announced the Moyes a week prior. Wenger was pushed out.
Jurgen Klopp's contribution to Liverpool will always be remembered in the heart of every football fan❤ I had not been lucky to see Shankly's era.. and Paiseley's. But now, I've got every hunch to believe that this (Klopp & Slot) is a reincarnation of that era, and of those two legends. Lucky to see them all happen before me eyes.
Slot's current squad is as much Klopp's legacy as the trophies he left behind, and the memories made along the way. Slot would not have been able to do what he has done this season without them.
I will always LOVE that 100 miles gegen pressing metal football of Jurgen Klopp. I will always miss that style. Arnie has a different approach of 100 miles but that Klopp style was addictive & it'll always be enjoyable to watch.
His legacy only gets bigger with how Liverpool have carried on winning after his departure he left the club in a position where Liverpool could keep winning.
Klopp will be for me one of the most unlucky managers of the PL era. He always had Man City with their money and even lost the league twice by a single point. One of the greatest.
This is still Klopps team in my opinion. Arne Slot has been the perfect addition as it’s the Klopp team but he makes them play with a little more measure and control so they don’t burn out so easily, which was really the only limiting factor under Jurgen keeping from us winning more. The team would give everything every game then be running on fumes by the end of the season

I think what people forget is that Klopp completely rebuilt the team last year. They overperformed in my eyes as they were just put together. They were very unlucky with injuries. This season they are much more used to playing with each other. I am convinced that Klopp would have had similar results. Arne Slot is terrific, but he inherited a banger team.
Klopp is a legend no doubt but most of the ppl saying he’s solely responsible for slot doing so well were also saying lfc would be bound to fail after his departure
Slot doing a fantasic job and is improving LIV in the first year.
