thanks so much for this! ill be getting this style for sure!
Love this review setup.
Thanks!
Thank you for such a good review
Oh my. This is a nice starter for pips. And its form fits in a bag too. Sweet! And the screen is not that small. Great starter unit!
It’s really is!
@@CreateNowSleepLater thank you again for a great unit review
You are very welcome!
I like how you got right into the meat and potatoes of this tablet. If I’m just starting to use a tablet this seems like a nice option.
The size seems just right since I have big hands.
Thank you for posting this.
Price is right too
which is better wacom one 1st gen or Xp-pen artist 13 2nd gen?
how do I calibrate this display?
There is a strange, high-pitched, and almost inaudible ringing in the right side audio that isn't present in anything else I listen to. It only happens when you're speaking, so maybe a microphone thing, or I'm crazy.... Either way it didn't stop me from watching the video.
Overall it was a good review, and I decided to order the tablet for school. Should hopefully be equally as good for 3D modelling and animation software like Maya &/ Blender, but we'll see.
Nice. Weird I don’t hear it. I edit using wired earbuds to avoid sound issues. I just tried it from my phone on Bluetooth and don’t hear it either. Maybe my voice is just extraordinary irritating on its own 😂
Could the X3 chip stylus be any better? Is there room for improvement even still?
I guess it can always gets better. Reviews are typically point in time. For example, I'm sure I thought a review I did 3 years ago would be different today, but that doesn't mean I didn't think it was great at the time. I don't really have specifics though.
Hi! Would you prefer this model or the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16? I’ve watched both of your videos and I’m torn 😅
I’m transitioning from an iPad Pro to a pen display because I want to start using Photoshop more often.
I'd say the Pro 16, its bigger and uses the same pen. I thought they made a 16" version of this one as well. That might be a third option.
1. how long does the battery last?
2. how is it charged?
3. can the tablet be taken outside and drawn without connecting to a computer?
There is no battery so it doesnt get charged. Its basically a display. Yes, you need a host computer. It cannot be used alone like an iPad.
Btw, which screen should I follow? The contrast of my laptop is higher compared to this tablet.
Follow in what way?
@@CreateNowSleepLater in terms of display accuracy something like that. You know sometimes our drawing looks different in other monitor.
Hard to answer, I guess it depends on how important color accuracy is to you and what kind of laptop you are using. You can take a swag using specs. Does the tablet have better color accuracy stats? If it’s really that important, you can color calibrate them.
Does USB-C run on Windows laptop with regular USB-C or does it need to be Thunderbolt?
No Thunderbolt needed. I can't say specifically because they (not XPPEN) has made the USB spec such a mess. Whatever your device, you can probably ask them on Twitter to be sure.
@@CreateNowSleepLater does the no screen mode works on the 3-1 cable?
Yes
would u rather get this or the huion 13?
Probably this. I don’t think there are worlds difference though.
@@CreateNowSleepLater can u elaborate on why this? like what gives the xp pen the edge for you? are the drivers stable? color accuracy? line wobble better in the xp pen than a huion?
This is good feedback but I have to say, I don’t edit comments here so in terms of failure, I would imagine my comments section would be a wreck.
