Hi, in normal cases, we would not recommend the use of standard passenger car oils for scooters since these oils are designed mainly for passenger cars. But in some cases, it might work. It really depends on what requirements from the OEM. We always recommend following the OEM when it comes to what oil recommended (both correct specification & correct viscosity).

Can we use car oil in gearless scooters whose gearbox is outside the engine.
For example : Honda Activa.
