- about 6,5 to 100km/h with my driving skils but it was very windy, a bit up hill road and I ride with side bags other tests were done with out it
Malossi 181 cc
VHSB 34mm jet 160, 36 needle k21, 2nd notch (from top), atomizer dq 266
sprocket 14t i 35t
ital kit W type reedvalve
racing exhaust (jolly moto racing copy)
150 km/h quite easy, for higher speed the most imoprtant are weather conditions
Is it 125 cc or 180cc? Because i got gifted one and the prev owner said its 125cc, but its also jc20?
@@siorzen1473 originaly it is 125cc, my is converted with malossi set to 180cc.
@@mn494 ohh ok
Did you port the 180 malossi cylinder ? Or modify cranckase ?
No, I didn't. I was just trying different gaskets' thicknesses. I am now trying to get as short intake as possible with minimal interference in bike, because now my intake is 5 cm longer than originally in nsr jc20 so it is not super efficient for high speed riding :)
@@giuseppeadamo4315 if you look at the timer you will see that i loose about 2 seconds to reach rezo range, so probably better rider would do 5,5 or less to 100 kmh. I can't complain about malossi set, I had few broke downs but it was always my fault :). I always brake it hard way and engine never broke down while braking. Few weeks ago I changed carburetor for pwk 30 and results are great, this engine wasn't designed for dellorto, I also put back original exhaust and kicked out exhaust valve and it turned out that it was stucking motor in medium range. Exhaust port is too small for more fumes from bigger carburetors. Now it is running much more smoth like athena 190cc, much better without exhaust valve.
About the same as factory 125cc in the 90s.. These would go 0-100kph in about 8.5sec if i remember correctly🤔
@samuklaus6373 I don't have skills to go for a full spin :). On 1 gear, it wants to stand up when you start to ride from 6 ths rpm or higher. It is much better than 125cc. At this setup, it was running with a dellorto carburator. Now I put keihin pwk 30mm and it is much better. But I don't have time to record it, but I will :). This motor was designed for a Japanese carburator, not Italian. I didn't think that there would be so much difference. With a new carburator, I will probably reach 180kmh. I don't have proper exhaust. I am dealing with a few companies that I bought exhaust from, for reclamation with no luck since 2 months, so it holds me back as well.
Try and change gears abit before the 11k mark, try changinf around 9500k rpm bc when you get to yoyr fiull red limter you use all your engine power.
I have aftermarket combustion chamber peak power is somewhere around 12k. But on this recording, it was still while testing it and doing some adjustments. So it should be driven approximately like this for max power.
