Thabks for the video. What was the image render software you mentioned at yhe beginning of yhe video?
Interesting video! 👍
Thanks riccardo!
useful video keep it up
Thank you!!😊
very nice
Thanks!!
Do u recommend mac or windows for architectural software
i personally would go for windows
If you were going to buy an M3 for Archicad, what specs would you go for? Not crazy but not under cooked. Im about to buy for myself. Whats do you think below?
Apple M3 Pro chip with 11‑core CPU, 14‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine
18GB unified memory
512GB SSD storage
This too much? Thanks
I would get more unified memory and SSD storage if i could… but it gets expensive with Apple. What does your current computer have? If you are already working with 512gb SSD then it should be fine. If it starts to get full you can always move files to external storage. And regarding the RAM/ unified memory, just dont open too much memory hungry software at once.
Do you have any other questions relating to architecture that you think i should make a video about??
Thank you. Would this be better?
Apple M3 Pro chip with 11‑core CPU, 14‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine
36GB unified memory
1TB SSD storage
Im a graduate Architect so this would be my personal. Its the basic chip and core combo. Surely thats enough you think?
Def more Archicad/Ipad content, workflows, how to's
@@erikleypoldt8275 Yes I think that would be better
Hi! You didn't mention that processors divide not only on i3 to i9 and their generations but also to U,P,H,K,HQ ... All of them are different in performance. Also, what about the AMD?
Hi! I didnt want to go into this much detail because it would be too overwhelming. Sometimes an older generation CPU with a higher spec might be better than a newer generation CPU. And sometimes, AMD might perform better than Intel (or other way around), it changes depending on the year. Trying to compare and decide which is the best CPU, would take a lot of research. I dont think it’s worth stressing over.
Hey! Ive been accepted to study architecture in FIU , should I get the MacBook Pro with the m3 pro chip (16inch) or should I go with the MacBook Air 15inch and upgrade the specs ?
Congrats on getting in! I would go for the Macbook Pro M3 with the better CPU/Processor. Be sure to subscribe, I'll be making videos about all things uni students need to know for architecture school!
@@jansenche ok! Thanks for replying! Could you do pros and cons of owning Apple vs windows for architecture students ?
Hi @@user-qt2cw8mk6n There is not much to say regarding that topic. The main consideration is software, (Which i spoke about in this video) But I know you wont know which software you will use in the future...Windows laptop is the safe option. But at the end of the day, if you choose a apple and need to use a windows based software, you can install something like 'parallels'... i just think that's a bit cumbersome..
🤣🤣🤣 Buy an expensive laptop and pretend it's a desktop!!
