"Who could have perpetrated this grizzly murder?"
Taliesin, coming out with another perfect one-liner.
the desire to launch the pun must have been unbearable
@@catsi563 And he had all the koalafications
A grizzly veteran of the pun wars of ancient times
Taliesin's jokes fly under the radar so often, but they are always on point.
Liam’s demeanor of degenerating into just pointing and silent paroxysms of laughter then collapsing into his chair is my ultimate goal for any social gathering.
Great use of "paroxysms:.
@@Sufficient_Reason It’s a very nice word isn’t it?
I'm pretty fluent in English which is my second language, but today I learned a new word, and it's a pretty great one. Thanks.
@@zlatan_2197 English is my native language, but I too learned a new word today.
Sam: cant breathe or speak,
Liam can't breathe period,
And here comes Talisen, making a pun so bad I genuinely thought Sam and Liam were going to pass out due to lack of oxygen
As hilarious as Sam and Liam coming apart at the seams is, Talisen’s “grizzly murder” joke gets me every time.
The way he is struggling and failing to hold it in reminds me a lot of Fabian Seacaster when he was having his breakdown about Chungledown Bim. Lou tried so hard but he just couldn't hold it in.
OIMMMM GONNAA SHET IN YER MOWTHHHH!!!
"HE'S GOING TO SHIT IN MY MOUTH!"
"HES GOING TO SHIT IN MY MOUUUUUTH"
I think that’s the hardest I’ve ever seen sam laugh, his laughing always felt more subdued than the others but this is just full on losing it
I think the "I may have misinterpreted your actions" in campaign 2 was another. Yeah Sam doesn't break easily.
Same for Ashley, she is also quite resilient to degrading into feats of laughter
From my favourite One-Shot. Loved this episode. Never seen Sam and Liam so broken!
This is the only moment I remember from that one shot
Laura: Did you kill my bear? 😤
Sam: *Wheezing and incoherent high-pitched noises.* 😂
The way he tried to defend himself but couldn't breathe is absolutely hilarious to me 🤣
I just noticed how Laura was fully invested as Vex and about to lay into Scanlan, but breaks character after “Fuckin’ Dyed!”
I really believe that Travis being so funny is what saved Scanlan and Sam from Laura killing him.
I love that Sam and Liam had the same reaction to the "I don't want to make any assumptions" joke, and Laura and Tal as well.
This clip lives rent free for me, because ive never seen Sam absolutely lose it. Like he laughs sure, but tries to keep going.....hes stunlocked in this vid
I just noticed Travis spit take in to his glass 😂🤣
I really love this one shot cause they have to play their characters playing their characters in a game dmed by Grog of all people.
The fact that there’s a punchline: “Fuckin’ died…”
And then ANOTHER one immediately after: “I don’t wanna make any assumptions…”
Like holy shit, you CAN’T be that funny on purpose. That’s improv at its absolute best.
Anfd you have to wonder how much of it was the lines? or Travis delivering it in that bear voice
Can someone explain these jokes please? English isn't my first language
@@lvplvp The joke in this case is more HOW its told rather then whats said. Traveis who is the DM used a VERY funny voice and it just hit at the right time to cause the others to crack up laughing.
So the combination of Travis doing the funny voice and timing is whats so funny
to add a little more to it
travis is playing a Bear named trinket a pet of Lauras character so when she casts the speak with animals spell on him travis responds as if the bear could talk
this sends the table into hysterics which is added to by taelsins grizzly murder line which is a BEAR pun perfectly times to insure maximum laughter
This is the most fun oneshot of critical role, imo. Paired with the Dalen's Closet beach episode of C1, its the most I've laughed watching CR.
Its my comfort food whenever I feel down. And this moment crowns it all.
This is the funniest or second funniest moment in all of CR as far as I'm concerned. The other moment is Ashley's "diabeetus" joke.
Honorable mention to the 45 minute arc of Scanlan and the love potion. That had me in stitches. As good as C2 and C3 are none have the hysterics of C1.
i want more games with travis as the gm
That was not only Travis but Grog 😂
Nothing is better than C1.
1,000,000%
This is one of my favorite one-shots. I hope they do a similar one sometime, but with Fjord DMing the Might Nien
Yeah Sam and Liam clap at the same time, but LOOK AT LAURA AND TALEISIN! They collapse in laughter at the EXACT same time! There’s seriously a split screen thing going on after everyone breaks 😂😂
Sam and Liam's simultaneous clap with Talie and Laura's head-to-desk laughter is pure gold
One of my all-time favorite moments
Holy hell I was literally crying with laughter watching this clip. What I wouldn't give to watch these folks live and in person :)
Letss goo, my boi Critical clip is back!
The joy one must get from causing your best of friends to utterly fall apart in tears of laughter is truly a priceless thing
I don't think I've ever actually seen Sam laugh that hard before or after that moment
Gotta love their various ways they break down Liam just getting blown backwards by the laughter, Lauras basically turning to pudding, taelesins just collapse, and face plant, and Sams explosion of laughter
They are just amazing people love em
Watching this live I was genuinely worried about Liam.
Same, but he needed this catharsis.
Best one shot ever
"how that sht work" XD
the most Grog reply
Whenever i have a bad day at work i watch this scene
CR has so many absolutely golden moments, but this is platinum.
This could’ve been cocaine bear before cocaine bear
Travis was the goat for this one shot 😂 dnd characters playing themselves in dnd game
I am happy I've met almost everyone in this video.
0:54 I really like Travis' scrunched up face
My favourite way to cheer up is this clip, second is the flash cards, never seen Matt Mercer lose it quite so nicely ❤
Matt isn't in this clip.
Whose fanart is that at the end!? Its beautiful
There will never be a group that can match scanlan and grog. Peak comedy.
"I fuckin died...I dont wanna make any assumptions but..." my husband and I quote this on a very regular basis 😂
Matt: "I leave these idiots for 5 minutes..."
You can tell when Taliesin finds something hilarious because he turns a shade of red that concerns me.
No need for concern, he is just losing concentration on keeping the human form disguise.
what the hell is the context for this, can someone explain? hahahah
like, why is this so absurd?
So for one in the actual canon campaign Scanlins character hated trinket and constantly wanted to either not bring the bear and as it became more and more of a burden wanted it to really just be gone forever so in the one shot he took the time to try and poison and kill the bear. Lot of context over literally almost 80 something episodes of context for this
🤣🤣🤣🤣
God that thumbnail is gross
Travis is so fucking funny
And with that Travis became the only one who managed to make Sam speechless. Even a daughter assassin reveal didnt manage that.
