Those are fruit knives I believe not butter knives. Great video. I love how you combine a travel log with your vintage buying. So interesting to me. You are just the best!
Hi Abigail, great video. Closest to France that I will probaby see. Enjoy all of small cities you visited. You would be a great Tour Guide. Loved your haul!
LOVE the drink parrots! I am reading a Sammy Davis Jr Bio currently and he speaks of drinking a French 75. Well, my son and I just had to make some and boy those parrots would be so charming to top them off! I think they are celluloid.
Thanks so much! I do get nervous and a bit anxious pre trip but things always work out and honestly people have such big hearts for travelers and are always so helpful. I couldn't do it without them.
Oh my gosh. I would definitely check any scarves like that for a Hermes signature. They look so much like one that I found! Mine was a knockoff 😢. If it had been real it would have been worth hundreds just for the one scarf!
We are going to Marseille and Aix en Provence and other villages then heading to Florence and Tuscany in September for !5 days. Hope we can see what we hope to see as we will be driving ourselves, were not looking for arranged tours but just me and my husband driving on small er roads like you are doing. If you can give me ideas on how to prepare for our trip, would appreciate. We are from New Brunswick, Canada and I too do a lot of buying and re-selling plus a lot of crafts, macrame lampshades and furniture refurbishing….can’t wait to be there.
Hi! There’s a video I did with tips for France but not included is how I pack. Extremely light, in a carry on which I then put into as large a suitcase as I can. I sometimes also pack bubble wrap.
Hi Abigail! Have certainly enjoyed watching your trip to France. Admire your adventurous nature. Loved shopping with you at all the cool marketplaces. I’m amazed at how you were able to be so selective with your purchases. I know that was a hard job. Btw…. do you know George, The Antique Nomad? He’s on RUclips. He’s doing an antique show in Portland this week I think. He started his career in antiques in Washington state and now travels all over this country. Safe travels.
I actually got to meet him a couple of months ago since he has a booth at at the same antique mall as I do. He's such a sweetheart and we talked about maybe doing a video together! And I'm so tempted to go to that show!
I was watching the video and you held up a cigarette case that you said was made out of crocodile. It's probably because crocodile extremely rare and much more expensive than alligator. It looks like alligator to me. Just thought you might like to know. I'm binge watching your videos if you haven't guessed already. LOL!
I packed super light and could have brought even less and been fine. Then I bought a huge suitcase but honestly I was so stressed about hauling it around because it was sooooooo huge. I got it home safely though and only 1 item broke. Even though I kept telling myself not to buy breakables I bought plenty but I tried to keep things small and tried to stay away from things I could find at home.
Great video! Above Christ's head on the crucifix is nailed a sign that says INRI - meaning Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews (maybe INRI was an abbreviation!). Not sure what language - Latin or Hebrew.
The outing to France was spectacular. So many neat things in the haul
Glad you liked it.
I’m so glad I found your channel as I love the same stuff as you… I have subscribed to your channel.
Yay, thanks!
So admire your capability. Smiled all the way through. Keep the dress. It's stunning.
Thanks! Unfortunately it’s too tight in the arms.
That dress at the end! Keep it for yourself! Love it!
I tried it on. It's so pretty but too tight in the arms for me.

Oh thanks, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I didn’t even know they made fruit knives.

That is awesome! Maybe when I list them I'll make one of those and style them that way. Yes, I think they are celluloid.
Great finds. You are so brave in all your travels. Love watching 😀

Oh my gosh I want those PARROTS 🦜❤️
I'm listing them today or tomorrow. Info will be in the Linktree link down below in the description.

Oh thanks! Always great to learn something new.
Beads are probably sandalwood. Do they have a scent?
I didn’t smell them! But that makes sense.
It looks like a Boy Scout hat.
It is! French to boot which makes it uber cool!
