Good tools need to be well maintained. If you want to earn money with it, you have to put a little time and love into the maintenance from time to time. Good video, keep it up!💚💪🏼
Nice vid, thanks. Was hoping to see info on clearing bar oil passageways and pump when the chain oiling fails, though, hope you'll do another vid on that.
I had a problem with the chain seeming to get stuck yet the motor was going like the clappers. Took it to a dealer and they stripped it down to check the gearbox but could not find a problem yet is till happened. At 2:10, the "wheel" being pointed to has a screw in the middle, it is a let hand thread. I found this had come loose. Tightened it up, no more problems. When tightening the nut that holds the orange cover on, make sure the chain tension does not change.
Does anyone know where I can find the black lid that covers the shaft on the oil tank side? I've been trying to find it online to buy but can't find it anywhere
It appears that you're bar only has one oil port. Perhaps it won't oil like that. Double check that bar. Make sure it has an oil port on both sides. Just saying? Thanks for the video. Edited comment: after carefully watching your cleaning video again, I see there is a hole on both sides. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I had never really noticed that before. I'm going to go clean mine up today. Cuz I have a nice little apple tree trim up. Spring has almost sprung.
It has 2 oil holes dont worry. It only oils through 1 hole as well btw thats how they're designed. It has 2 holes for when you flip the bar over for even wear, if you didnt know. 👍
Great tutorial
Cheers 👍

Hello, great video. I have a Stihl FS-KM weed wacker attachment. How do I do maintenance? Does the head have oil in it?
