Beautiful images, and presented in such an understated way - very enjoyable. Even more great images on your website as well -would love to know how you get the Tmax/ pyro to give such detail and with reciprocity giving grater contrast on long exposure wonder how its diluted /temp etc? Will be ordering some Tmax to try.
Thanks for your comments on the presentation. My "normal" work (short exposures, regular contrast) is developed in pyro (available at B&H - 2 part liquid from Photographer's Formulary) - it's a high acutance developer so it enhances sharpness. My night work and other high contrast work are given lots of exposure (supports detail in the shadows) then developed in TMas RS developer with a very dilute solution to reduce the contrast (bring down highlights). Any more ?'s let me know.
Watched most of the ES presentations.
Chip's laid back, calm and friendly style made this one of my favorites.
Thank you.
One of the best B&H presentations to date. Very enjoyable.
Glad you liked the seminar. I do my own prints and use an Epson Stylus Pro 7900.
Beautiful work and great photographer, one of my mentors.
Absolutely amazing images. I mostly shoot B&W portraits and wanted to get into landscape B&W so this is perfect.
Wonderful presentation. Great work.

Excellent presentation and wonderful art work. I did not hear if you printed your own prints and if so, which printer are you using?
I never had a favorite photographer...until now...
Any idea of the photographer's name who took the Algeria photos at the end of this?

Does anyone know if Chip still does lectures/workshops/seminars?
I will ask the collector who has researched the collection - I knew one of the photographer's names and didn't make a note of it.
