I hope you all enjoyed this bourbon hunt. We did have some lighting issues a few times in the video (my apologies) and I meant 1792 NOT benchmark haha I started talking too fast. Be sure to checkout our Patreon and LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more! Cheers 🥃
We all know those bottles are always reserved for you when they come in. Thanks for the update that more shipments are coming to stores though! Hunting today. 😉 cool talk!
@@aubreybianchi918 haha I actually did not walk away with anything from this store. All of those names on the bottles were folks that came in and had a great time tasting some great whiskey at the store that day. Cheers
I recall when standard BT was $14.99 and I felt like a king when I would splurge for Eagle Rare at $24.99. I will say though that this place you are at has what I would consider great pricing for what other places are charging for most of that stuff.
Stores like that are awesome. Most stores (and to that effect, the distributors) treat their whiskey like it’s worth more than gold and actively stop people from being able to purchase it.
I stopped by and saw James at your recommendation. It was an awesome experience. It’s where I discovered Art of the Spirit. James gave me a sample and had to take it home.
I was just gifted that Art of the Spirit Cigar Blend and it is amazing and definitely head and shoulders better than the Joseph Magnus Cigar that I have.
@Wiskeyer I may try double oaking my Magnus. Really it's a mess a lot of ethanol masking the pleasant notes. I paid 225 for it plus points a few years back. Unfortunately I didn't realize that a lot of the batches didn't have Nancy's expertise with the blending. Maybe the first 50 batches was something special but mine is in the 100s and is maybe worth $50 just to have the bottle.
Great hunt . Be cool to get up there and hunt one day . BTW saw you yesterday in Lafayette but I figured you were lying low so didn't bother you . Wasn't filming
@@TheSqueakGeek Thank you so much!!! Today this was all we had planned and certain stores are great for a solo video sometimes but I do have plenty coming out that I think you’ll love!
wait... buffalo trace at $20.99 for 750ml is more economical than buying a 1.75ml handle at $49.99....that's not just crazy, that's really stupid crazy pricing. I live in an state monopoly ABC, by law to sell at MSRP, buffalo trace in 750 ml is $32.95, 2024.
Could you imagine being in a store and this doof is walking around with a microphone and a camera just repeating what every other bourbon channel says.
@@sammylo6200 Ah man I think each channel has their own uniqueness in some way. For example I try to be in front of the camera the whole time to make it a bit more personal. I also like to talk about a lot of products that I personally like or don’t like. That’s what’s great about the whiskey community is everyone’s taste is different. If you watch some of my previous videos you’d see that. I started this channel while I was active duty military because of a store like this one. I really wanted to showcase amazing stores and local businesses. A lot of times people have NO CLUE these stores exist so I think it’s cool that viewers can find new spots to shop at. Cheers 🥃
