MISTAKES I caught in QuickBooks (how to fix a RECONCILE with discrepancy issue in QBO)

How to reconcile in QuickBooks when there is a discrepancy. My first QBO mistake was an item not feeding in on bank feeds, and there was also a duplicate. Another reconciliation issue was that extra items were checked in the reconcile window (with wrong dates). I also had an issue where check images didn't feed in to QuickBooks Online. There were a couple things with Gusto Payroll that I needed to fix. Let me know what questions you have about reconciliation!

How I avoid a lot of this is make sure to turn off the "auto add" feature under rules or when creating rules. I never allow QB to automatically enter transactions; I still review every single transaction sitting in the bank feed area
