@@thomass9099 they do get warm but not overly, with taramps and few other Brazilian amps the bass is not as clean and low as a Korean but then again it depends on your bass liking, aside from that these amps pack a punch it's easy power and very compact I've got 2 wolfram C2400.1 I didnt install them as yet on another project later this summer. The taramps Smart 3K I will be using to power 2 DD612 subs in a tuned box at 32 Hertz. If you wanna try taramps get an MD1800.1 and see how it works for you and get the Smart 3K

They came out with Smart 1-2 ohm input 3K amp and it cost just a bit more but for the power it puts out there shouldn’t be any questions why I’m not getting this Amp if I need this much power. Soon I will and I’m leaning towards the Smart 1-2 3000 or the 5000. These amps pass almost every test I see them put through. Quality Amplifiers! I’m a fan!!!
What do you have the settings set as? For 12 inch subwoofers would you rec to put the low pass all the way down to the 90hz and set the high pass at 20hz to act as a subsonic filter, then further reduce the high pass to 80hz at the head unit? Thanks for your reply.
You can use just a multimeter. Just figure out the voltage for the power you are trying to get, hook up your multimeter, then adjust the gain until it reads the target voltage. I don't remember exactly with the hpf/lpf, but I do remember watching a video using a multimeter
I had my dB 2k wdx wired at 1 ohm blew them. I have 2 skar evl on it now but I keep it turned down. I was going to wire them at 2ohm hoping to keep from over powering them lol but not now
No that's not typical at all this amp was special designed to put out 3k at 1 ohm or 2 ohm. I'm sure it put out more at 2 ohms because it's more efficient at 2 ohms, could be wrong but that's my guess.
I would like to run this amp but all got is agm platinum battery upfront 0ga ofc wire power and ground. is that enough my voltage doesn't dip below 13.8 is that ok.
@@Facekicker wow, this lil amp packs a PUNCH making those numbers at 40hz makes me proud, lol. I'm torn on this vs the BASS 3K, what's your take on these two, would be getting plenty of power and good wiring etc.
Got one pushing 2 evl 18s and they can NOT handle this amp at 1/8th gain. Only complaint I have is the amp LOVES power. 300 amp alt and 2 Batts at least

It's a basic HU shell for mounting under the dash, screwed to a piece of wood I put furniture pads on so it wouldn't scratch anything

Yes, but to avoid overlapping xover slopes
I set amp LPF to ~120 and use HU or DSP LPF set to ~65hz

This amp performance at 2 ohms is better to my experience it hates .5 it will protect and doesn’t play as strong
What's the set screw size for power and power ground terminals? I bought this new and didn't come with them.

So I ordered 2/15inch EMF Lowballers 2ohm speakers for this amp. What suggestions you have for wiring it to this amp? 1ohm or 2ohm?
Wire them at 2 ohms unless you have good electrical
Since they are 2ohm subs you can't wire them to 1ohm. You can go .5ohm or 2ohm

Second battery would probably be advised but if your voltage stays above 11s with a Smart3 you'd be ok.
