I bought the deere 4320. Thank you Tim for your opinion. It's my first tractor. Not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it. Need to fix the tilt steering but hopefully it won't be too costly. Thanks again Tim, I've watched your videos for several years and appreciate the Bible verse at the end of the videos.
The lowest price I've seen for the non cab version is like $22,995 with 2,677 hours. Now I guess I need some Bolt on Hooks! Hope I don't upset the finance committee upset too much!
I believe the 755 should have a 70 loader on it. The 855 and 955 series had a 70A loader. The 4400 has the VIN plate next to the right front axle on the frame. You kind of have to lean down a bit to see it. That one had the one model lower loader. You could get them with the 430 loaders or the 420 loaders. The rear rims on it don't look stock either as they have the guard around the valve stem. I saw that one was a shuttle shift version vs the hydrostatic drive also. The 1025R with 580 hours has its front tires swapped around. Looks like someone had the tires off and forgot what side they went back on lol.
Tim, regarding municipalities buying BX’s, if they have a synthetic turf field they may buy one to pull the turf cleaners and to move crumb rubber to fill areas of loss.
7305 is 30hp 1.5l diesel, built by Mitsubishi. I love mine for mowing. Parts are still available EXCEPT for injection nozzles, I had to order mine from China but they work great. Everything else is still procurable, like filters ect.
Thanks for the video Tim. I really miss going to these, given it up now that everything is listed online and you are bidding against people around the continent looking to steal a good deal from locals just to make a few hundred dollars on a resale.
Happy Easter! I am surprised the prices are at the upper end of the range. I thought the trend was past the hump as inventories and availability are improved again.
I have a newish 2515 Branson tractor that I might want to sell so I was watching this auction with interest. I'm somewhat concerned that tractors will go the way of the car sales prices which are down, yet most of these auctions did much better than what was predicted. Considering the hard times and people wanting to eliminate their cars and motor homes to rise cash because of inflation I was sure the tractor prices would also be down, any comments concerning why this auction went so well for the use tractors?
Re: inventory. Same here with United Ag, my dealer in NH just got a huge inventory stock up the the last month, where for the last few years it's been slim pickings
Tim the gash on the BX23S is from moving the seat from drive to backhoe position. If you're not careful you aggressively rub that arm rest to pieces. Probably came from a Rental group.
19:00 the loader on that unit has been badly damaged front arms are bent forward, and it doesn't seat on the shoulder arms bracket properly. looks like the rams got replaced
My money says the matching BXs were rental units. It's almost like there's one person that goes to every rental company writing the fuel type next to the filler. It's always that same writing!
Just wanted to wish you a Happy Easter. Watching thst auction I'm thinking how much $$ I have lost after getting my 1025r new in 2021. Only 126 hours now but to me every hour has been a relief from other worries of life. Thanks
I was the lab test driver here in augusta,ga,, at the john deere assembly plant and i put that 1025 thru some bad stuff ,it never broke or stopped. It should of !!! ,,,. Im looking for a used one now to buy
Great video, I enjoy seeing what the tractors sell for. This auction seemed abit high over all. I’m wondering if auctions in the fall aren’t a better option price wise.
I was by there on Thursday but couldn’t stay for the auction as live in Western KY. I agree they had a big selection this year. How much did the Dewalt Zero turns sell for? I tried to watch it on line but couldn’t find a link. If you know how to watch on line please let me know. I may be able to attend it live in August.
I think you'd get better prices scowling the private market if you have the time for it. Prices should be falling as inventory is building and interest rates are skyrocketing. I'm glad I got my TYM at pre covid prices.
Another great video Tim. You always do a great job at presenting the information. On a topic opposite to this; have you done much research on when is the best time to sell your tractor or trade it in. Is there a specific time/hours where the value takes a significant drop. And is there a variance on this between me models and manufacturers? Is there a benefit to trading in on a regular basis? Or do I keep it till it’s pretty well worn out? I would be interested in your thoughts on this. Thanks.
I happened to find some info on the Cub Cadet 7305 on another tractor data site. Came with a 1.5L Mitsubishi diesel and was made by MTD (now Stanley/Black and Decker). Happy Easter to you and all of yours.
my how i love to attend auctions. still can't walk on my own{still using help with a walker) waoting on warmer weather. thanks for getting out for me-ok
My wife won't let me anywhere near an auction as I have "attachment disease". Now that I have a subcompact tractor, I am trying to accumulate ALL of the attachments! Lol
13:00 that's not the same 40 loader i have on my 445 compact tractor, same set up type, but 50% larger than mine. and if i recall right, the 40 loaders on the 1970's era 1050's-1550 were 40 loaders that were 50% bigger than this one even as they were 7' wide buckets
I owned one of these BX23 and traded for a better 1025R…the cup holder is from turning the seat which I hated. Rather replacing the entire seat I jerry rig to get it to work.
I think the Kubota, is what the HomeDesperate has in their rental fleet. And that would tie right in with Ims127’s guess on the damage to teh cup holder bing from rotating the seat. An owner would learn not to swivel with the seat forward after the first or second impact. A guy renting one, would never complete the learning curve.
@@TractorTimewithTim You are so right Tim i was going to buy a BX 23S at the beginning of the pandemic but the wife had to have surgery so i put it off . What a dummy ,now the only things in my budget are 20 years old .
The person that bought the Cub Cadet is not going to be happy when they need parts. A few years ago I was looking at one and my local dealer said to stay away from it they would have a hard time getting parts. Happy Easter!
What, no Masseys? That Cub Cadet is Mitsubishi built, not a bad tractor but parts availability is a definite problem. Here in Texas auction premiums are common, I don't know why. Auctions are not nearly as common as up north and in person auctions are a rarity.
Is this the one with the spoked flywheel? The auction went to great lengths to say that the spoked flywheel was an original Deere…but that it could not have been original on this tractor, as the tractor was a ‘29, and they quit the spoked flywheel in ‘26. Tractor. Brought 6-7k somewhere in there.
@@TractorTimewithTim That was the one. I couldn’t tell how authentic a “spoker” it was from the video. Shame people build these and can get sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Thanks for the update!

You cannot trust the hour meters on the JD 655, 755, 855, and 955 tractors. I bought a used 92 755 and the hour meter was not working. Put in a new hour / tachometer and it quit at 540 hours.
@@TractorTimewithTim Tim, I had 67 hit and miss engines in 1 of my buildings ,every time I'd haul a nother 1 home she would say you better not of bought another 1. I sold them all but 3 to1 guy. Wife was happy when she seen all the $$ .
i would guess that damage on the cup holder from rotating the seat around
I was going to say the exact same thing. They all had backhoes on them.
That is exactly what causes the damage. Ask me how I know. Lol
Yep the same thing happened to mine within a few weeks of owning it
Caused by exploding Budweiser beer cans in the cup-holder nearly all BX23S are susceptible to this phenomenon. Ask me how I know! 11:46 😂😂😂
They probably all came from a rental pool.
Fun to watch, especially in your quick and concise presentation. Blessings.
Yes this is awesome especially for those looking to buy, knowing prices of several other machines, I think Tim should do this often!
Love when you share this auction with all of us. Very informative. Thanks and God Bless

I was at this auction, mostly to watch the antique tractors sell. Small world.

The Kubota gash happens when you rotate the seat around to use it in backhoe mode.

I would say the KL-4030 was probably used by a county road crew to mow along the roads and that is were the damage came from.
