I grew up with both the Wii version around launch, then the x360 version later when I bought WFC with it. Wii version was pretty meh overall, hence why I saved for the x360 copy years later. When I did hop onto it, the playerbase was still moderately active. I remember it having the same issue as WFC where if someone else in the lobby doesn't own the DLC packs, they get booted as soon as a DLC map is voted on. The RotF DLC was very generous too, there were so many characters you got in one pack. They were also compatible with story mode, which was a nice gesture. Both games stayed active until they dwindled as DotM and FoC released and split peeps down further. I remember that all the playerbases thinned out due to the hackers with speed boosts and 1-hit P.O.K.E. cheats. WFC suffered greatly from it, and RotF's lobbies thinned out to three people per match. The other games didn't last either, lobbies became as low as five or six people in one Team Deathmatch queue and a ton of lag. Even the FoC HD rerelease during PS4/xBone died down in under a year. I'm hopeful that TF: Reactivate will be a more approachable game to the masses and that they implement an anticheat of some kind to prevent an early death. I'm not betting on Microsoft "rereleasing" or "remaking" any of the Activision games, either. At best, I can see the team releasing other versions of existing characters, such as making live-action Optimus a purchasable character in a shop.
So was it as boring as I remember it being? No. It’s actually pretty fun even if I still prefer the first game
This was the revenge of the fallen game I played, when I saw the ps3 version I thought this game was a fever dream

I have both Wii and PS3 of revenge of the fallen
I just 100% both campaigns on a disk reader I bought just to play it again.
When video game adaptation have better plot than actual movie it was based on.
You’re talking about the Wii/PS2 version the PS3/360 are different games
I also played the ps3 version back in the day. But it’s been forever since I have. Most ps2 games were different then their ps3 counterparts
You should play the PSP version. It's completely different
