I don’t know why the version of this game that I owned was different than the main version? It did not look like this at all. I don’t know why. Also I was highly disappointed back then when I found out you couldn’t post as the new characters like Skids, Mudflap and Sideswipe. Now I don’t care anymore but that’s how I felt back then. I used to really love the second movie back in the day when it first came out. Which is why 2009 was a fun year for me.
Sadly 95% of players were gone by the time it dropped. The ONLY reason I stopped playing this game every night is because eventually there was no one left 😢
I still have my old 360 hard drive with all the DLCs installed! :D Oh how i miss the s*** outta this game! Been tempted to go get an old 360 just to play it again.
Fun fact, it's the same voice actor they used in the Transformers Prime TV show. Absolutely my favourite version of Megatron's voice, made him way more menacing which gave you the "don't FK with my superior intelligence or prepare for oblivion" vibe.
Definitely like top 5. Imo, either war for Cybertron or Fall of Cybertron were the absolute best. But, I really liked this one cause to really made you feel like you were limbering and out of place on Earth as a giant robot, and I liked they way they incorporated each character’s different weapons.
I actually only ever played one online match of this game (was primarily an SP guy) and I picked Megatron. Got into deathmatch with one other player who I think played as Jazz or Sideswipe, one of the smaller Autobots. I absolutely destroyed him, I think he barely even got a hit on me. I felt kinda bad tbh
@@livirus3826 that’s exactly how it felt in story mode too. i never played the online but i played both campaign stories and megatron is hands down the best one to use. i love optimus but that fucker had nothing on megatron in that game. the decepticon campaign was the easiest thing i’ve ever played once i unlocked him.
I think sideways might be my favourite one, love his design far more than I should. His little screen time in the movie sucks, but at least he has more in the game thankfully.
I miss this game but I hated the driving mechanics in this one due to the fact that you couldn’t stay in vehicle mode without releasing the button and you didn’t have a separate forward key. But the maps also felt very small especially with how fast even the ground vehicles were, when compared to the first game which was much more acceptable for the speed-map sizes. I just ended up playing the revive Megatron level due to being able to destroy some of the ships and the open feeling with those speeds.
I liked this game's multiplayer a lot. It felt super unique compared to War For Cybertron and Fall Of Cybertron. I wish I would have played it more. My favorite characters were the DLC ones, especially Soundwave and G1 Megatron. There were some other awesome ones as well.

Yeah don't they just??? It's so weird looking back at games like this because you know how much better modern graphics are and it sets up an expectation that older games will look like shit. Games like RoTF, Crackdown 2, Halo 3 and Skyrim all hold up in their own ways. (Skyrim less than the others, but the sky boxes and magic effects are spectacular)

I remember the times of PS2 here in brazil, you could buy a lot of games for very cheap, like 10 games for less than 10 dollars. this was one of the games I bought, ofc these werent the original ones so I always had to pray not to occur any errors. games like this one, lego starwars, guitarhero, monster truck, killzone, etc, were so fun and made me really happy, even though I sucked at these and couldnt even understand a word... good luck trying to find a game in portuguese back then. ps2 era was the best, I miss the good old days.

Oh man I remember when I use to play ROTF with War for Cybertron every day, main game and online. Was truly one of the best moment in my life. It would really be a blessing if there was a revamp for both games online servers. I really miss this 😢 ✊🏾
i remember this game had a free to play multiplayer demo on 360 and when i played there were actually people on the servers, it was like 7 or so but it was so crazy
Quite unfortunate for his death and short screen time. but he should’ve tried to fight back against bee… his Fault for being a coward decepticon and bee easily killing him like that in the movie.
It was good but both War For Cybertron and Fall Of Cybertron were better, with the latter being hands down the best Transformers game and one of the best games ever made.
BTW, most of the playable characters have a secondary weapon that you can switch to in Robot mode...... Example: Breakaway has a burst fire cannon for close quarters situations unsuitable for his sniper rifle.
