    Good thing about flintnapping is you make a bunch of razor sharp pieces you can use for various and sundry things.

    Don't you like picking some of that Flint out of your arms oh, I used to do that in Missouri and still do every once in awhile pieces still come out of my arms but it is fun

      ​@@Rookie_Rockounding Reminds me of skinning a potato! That's funny you saw my comment. Most knappable stone I find where I live is freeze cracked, but I have found some stuff. I'm practicing with the ugly rocks till I get better and then I'm gonna try some of the pretty stuff out when I'm more confident

    When you switch to that knot of wood does it give you a smaller different controlled flake? I'll bet if I shook your hand you would not have " office- workers " hands...not that there's anything wrong with office workers, Hah but like pottery workers there is an effect on the skin with this craft. Good on ya

    love it your such a great guy and love every signal video that you have posted. i knap aswell but i cant work on the bigger stuff like you because i had a hernia and the surgery did not go great. so i always watch your videos in awe and jelousy. keep up the fantastic work from here in america from a Cherokee wado

    I had a bunch of obsidian that I tried to do this with once I ended up just destroying the rocks entirely with out creating anything useful

Secondly, not suggesting anything at all, or saying you should have done anything differently in the video but I would so love to know more about what you’re doing and why? God that sounds rude... I mean like, what you’re using and where you’re hitting the stone and why you’re doing it how you are. I say this sooooooooo out of respect for your craft, and because your video made me want to try it, but I don’t know what I’m doing. If that makes sense. 🤔
