Good Catch! Wow! I will make sure to Pin this for others see.
So proper profitability breakdown is $2.59 Revenue - $0.70 Electric Cost = $1.88 Daily Profit

IPollo informed me they are working on a Firmware to boost the performance of the V1H to over 1 GHs. Can't wait!

Did they ever get back to you? I have mine now and it is working great. I am actually mining Jupiter via Unmintable. (yes, I know the criticism about them but even with the tax, I'm making great profit.

alright.. this was the best open box of a miner I have seen so far on RUclips. Great job and super helpful.

THM nice unit the X16Q does like 2GH @ 670w for 3k, the V1H less than half the performance and 2x worst efficiency so I would have expected this unit to go for $650-750 max, still nice home miner, and yes WiFi is needed.
Also it Would be cool if Jasminer made a X8Q 1Gh 340w for $1.4k would be amazing.

Yeah, i am hoping we see some high hashrate firmware releases to make that 730 Watts worth while.

I have just started looking into home mining with ASIC. Do you have any other videos on mining rigs that run on 100v systems?

I was happy to hear they are working on Firmware Upgrades to push the Hashrate. That should help.

This is a cool looking ASIC at a decent price point. It is great to see companies like iPolo and Jazzminer create mining hardware with the home/hobby miner in mind.
I'm curious what the firmware upgrade will do for temps and noise. That goop around the fan connectors is probably there to detur people from changing the fans. I'm curious if a different fan would improve the temps. It really depends on their fan design. Static pressure is important for pushing air through the radiator.

  • @olivierwikina7533
    @olivierwikina7533 Год назад

Flowrate in a loop is so fast that water temperature will go to equilibrium everywhere in the loop. So loop order doesn't effect temps

Truth be told, I wish the water aio is like a regular 120mm aio that you bought at the store to increase their ease to replace. With this aio setup, if one pump breaks, it will be a hell to replace imo. But I guess regular aio will not fit with the asic chips so I guess that is why they went and do this?
Wondering if they have this idea from the blue whale miner (I think this is the name).

@TheHobbyistMiner laying it down might be the better way to run them cause the waterblocks on the fpga should be as low as possible for better/correct operation and waterflow

You and Chump are obsessed with wireless. I'd never run a miner on wifi, you're just asking for issues with stale/invalid shares. Wired is the way to go.

OK, so I don't get it. Why would I take a perfectly reliable air cooler and change it by putting a less reliable pump and radiator setup on it? Unless you are moving the heat to somewhere else, there is ZERO reason to add a water cooler. It's just a gimmick. It has no practical benefits.

I am curious if it will add to higher clocking and Frequency in the Near Future with Future Firmware Updates.
