*honorable mentions* Jay & Wren - The fact that he came on both of his aliases this year, bro, he was so back About You (Flava D Remix) - I like what Flava D went for with this one Choir of the Banshees - Good but kinda forgettable. Haven't been really big on the whole orchestral dubstep gimmick that Caster has been going for unlike someone like JLunarmy Cloudrunner - We need more DnB on Silk, especially if it's done like this DAMAGE - F.O.O.L has done a lot better than this Data - There are like so many bass house tracks released on Monstercat this year and they all bang but this one is missing some special sauce Feeling Low - Pretty good tbh but I feel it's not the most replayable. That growly bass is gonna take a lot of getting used to Have It All - Ol' reliable Future House Haze - I liked Big Chordi Boi and the other two Mechanomorphic reps in this video but this one is still really good Heaven - Plenty of other songs are in the "heavy > melodic" song structure and have done it quite better than that although this is still a good shot from Blanke on that end Ignite - Fantastic debut SEE YOU DROP - People have been shouting "DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP" like it's nobody's business when this song comes on live in Ray Volpe's shows Somebody With You - F U N K Y The Banana Song - bananadan died for this Tokyo Drift - A really cool take on the original, that's for sure *DC's Top 50* #50 - how are they even remotely capable of this, this was a blast to listen to #49 - "IT'S GETTIN' HAWT 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥", Skybreak said. The sounds used here tickle my ears so well #48 - This song is growing on me so much #47 - Solomon France was snubbed this year. Let's see if Coming Back makes BO2025 given that he brought back WRLD from retirement and this was released after BO2024 was announced. #46 - Mazare's best this year #45 - Rare ARMNHMR W #44 - The only song from WHIPPED CREAM's newest EP this year I really liked #43 - Fun fact: there was that one part in the music video of Terminal where someone played a recording of one of Skybreak's shows (where SpaceYeti also took part in) in a Nintendo 3DS (notable for the garbage audio quality). That person was Landon, Skybreak's manager #42 - Somehow this is good #41 - I'm 100% sure Rocket League played a part in this becoming DC considering this to be the best song Gix has put out #40 - Crazy stuttering here #39 - These two went HAM with this absolute slapper of a dubstep track #38 - Both this and Reconnect can fit in his Simulation album #37 - I think I'm really one of those people who do love what Bishu is going for- it's a big change from his earlier trap days and if anything, that just proves he's very diverse as an artist, if the "Fake Genres" are any indication. #36 - This is really good. Bensley is underrated #35 - I can hear the VR sound design elements that definitely add a lot to this standard REZZ midtempo track. #34 - ellis moment #1 #33 - A splendid debut from Oliverse. Even he's had a lot of fun playing this on the sets in the days leading in to the track's release #32 - The way the vocal chops are done here is super fantastic, like, it's the main melody in the drops now #31 - See #47 #30 - Understandable why it made BO2024. Wish we got more progressive house songs like this. #29 - The stuttery drops are done so well here #28 - I mean, I do love it, but I haven't listened to it that much #27 - I wish I listened to this more #26 - Fun fact: ellis has been an uncredited artist in both For Me and its VIP, both by Throttle, which is why people were excited to see ellis and Throttle actually properly credited this time and it works wonders (also ellis moment #2) #25 - This isn't even the last song Sharks has released since his hiatus, that one goes to "watching everything burn right in front of me", but still though, someone's gotta pick up the slack and my best guess is definitely KERO or Paper Skies #24 - See #37 #23 - I don't even mind the phonk melody being used in the drops as it's catchy #22 - Fantastic intro #21 - Would consider this hayve's second best song, right under Clique with Typhon #20 - Conro french electro is just that good #19 - A simple concept that I've seen so many times that's executed so well.
