What If Dooku Joined the Jedi High Council

- Master Dooku was well known and highly respected, so much so he was given a chance to be on the Council. What If he accepted such a role on the High Council? Would Dooku be able to help the Jedi in their efforts to become closer tied to the republic? Would Dooku be approached by the Sith? Would the Jedi be able to fix their fall into corruption or find the identity of the Sith?

The sad thing is, that this "what if" scenario isn't so far from realizing - if only Dooku tried.......
in a way he did,he just went about it all wrong
What if a drunken Darth Plagueis managed to escape from Sidious when he made an attempt on his life? Then Plagueis took Dooku as his apprentice, and led the separatists with him, and Sidious led the republic. What if both Sith started a secret war with each other through the hands of the Republic, the Jedi and the Separatists?
What if General Grievous learned the truth - that Sidious was behind his maiming and everything else, not the Jedi? And/or what if he survived Revenge and aided the Rebels?
That would be pretty epic!
it'd be cool but it'd be a vader situation where they wouldn't accept him. but canon grievous is a coward child killer anyway sadly

Yeah, We definitely need to see Dooku like this more often. And next time in the future we should definitely have a story for Our Grand Master where Dooku, by never Falling to the Dark Side, prevents Qui-Gon's Death. And Palpatine's Becoming Supreme Chancellor.

Then the Nightsisters would either drive the “Seppies” off planet and/or still face annihilation. Though Grievous wouldn’t be the ONLY casualty from the battle as Dooku might’ve been killed painfully by Talzin (assuming the spell doesn’t end prematurely).
That would change a lot of things. Nice story suggestion.

What if, sometime before "The Phantom Menace", instead of turning to the Dark Side and becoming Palpatine/Sidious' apprentice, Dooku went on a journey similar to the one Yoda took in The Clone Wars episodes, "Voices", " Destiny ", & " Sacrifice ", after he became disenchanted with the Jedi Order, forcing Palpatine to corrupt another Jedi Master to be the face of the CIS (Pong Krell)?
What if anakin turned palpatine to the lightside? Practically impossible I know but I think you could make an awesome story about it.
I difficult process but maybe he could start to think about Anakin as a son..and maybe teach what he knows of the dark side but start to get rid of the evil...accessing the powers somehow...

That would be incredibly hard to pull off at best. But if it could be pulled off it would make a fun story.

Since the force created Anakin from plageus and palpatine doing experiments with the force then i think he would still be alive

Ezra and Leia could possibly fall in love in a timeline where Anakin doesn’t turn and the Jedi order do away with the rules against attachments. If Ezra were brought to the Jedi temple and Leia was already training there, it could definitely happen(maybe Leia is Ahsoka’s Padawan and Ezra still trains with Kanan). Also, I’d love to see a bromance between him and Luke.
Well they do meet in Rebels for a short time. So they can fall in love in the normal timeline as well.

What if the Jedi weren't allied with the Republic, being a different faction sometimes at odds with the Republic? Or what if the Sith were allies with the Republic, having a friendly mask that needed to be torn apart?
I love your take on Yoda of this timeline, his realization that he was part of the problem and taking up a task more suited for his experience. It's a fitting end state for a great character. Also love the imagery of the blue fire lit duel at the Palpatine estate. It's a fun inversion of the color palate of Mustifar.
This was incredibly well done. I just listened to this after the one you did about the retention of the clone army (which was excellent but depressing!), so thanks for an uplifting story after that one.

In the past week, I have asked you would you consider a three way collaboration with Fantasy Folklore and The Star Wars Galaxy. Have you thought about it? Day 26 of my list: been almost of month of my list, wonder if any of my ideas peak your interest? What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
Dooku just prevented Anakin from being conceived by the force 😂

Both a master and his former padawan who are perfectly balanced in the force with the light/dark sides of the force. Once saving Grogu Luke still finds them on Tython and he becomes the masters new apprentice Grogu the apprentice to the former padawan

Day: 66: What if Talzin raised Maul?
I think this will be a happy ending, but depending on how Plagueis and Sidious react, this could get very dark very quick.
Day 33: What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi?
Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master.
Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire.
The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself.
To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel.
I would be quite interested in seeing more What Ifs in this time period

At the time of the Sith being stopped it looks like Anakin could still be born here, which could make an interesting situation, as darkness and challanges always find a way to rise. Especially with other dark side users still out there, like the witches of Dathomir

What if Mandolorians were like the Bendu, existing in the middle of Light and Dark? Maybe they're still not Force-sensitive, but the Force still acts through them as a sort of counterbalance to the growing darkness of the Sith and complacency of the Jedi?

Here's one. What if, when Anakin went to the Senate, instead of to the Jedi when Palpatine reveals himself?
For example, Anakin could have decided to take his role on spying on the Chancellor seriously, and decided to wear a wire when Palpatine reveals himself. Shocked by the reveal, he takes it to Padme who calls Bail Organa to call an emergency session to remove Palpatine from power.
In the mean time, Mace Windu decides to remove Palpatine from power anyway, as he hasn't heard from Anakin yet. Due to him not being informed of Palpatine being the dark lord, the Jedi masters are cut down. Palpatine, thinking he has his excuse, goes to enact Order 66, however it fails due to the vote from the senate having gone through to revoke his powers.
This could have him escape to the CIS as a backup plan, as clones and Jedi hunt him down as he escapes from Coruscant.
What if Barriss Ofree was made Anakin's padawan?
What if Anakin and Dooku joined forces during the clone wars?
What if Anakin told the council about executing Dooku?
What if Shaak Ti sensed Anakin's nightmares?
